Sorry for bad english.
when i began here,,prices for players were ok.
with 1million you were able to pay 4good starters.2backups.1expensive trainee and 2 cheap trainees for the 4.div and compete for playoffs.

new Manager were able to play the game not only training and waiting 5saisons. They stood in the game like me.

but now its different and the raison why i dont play utopia.
What game i should play were i have to wait one year to even look at my boxscore of i lost a game by 10 and not by 50.

In div 2 were i now play i may have to pay 5million zo compete for promotion. Crazy.
pay minimum 750k for 33y old starters for div 2 which would help to promote but 2saisons later you have to sell them.

if i go to 3rd division cause of bad luck or injury. I may retire because of low income and taxes and high prizes for free agents.. That is not good for an online Manager game.

I agree with you with your points, I think every know how to build a team its no brainer type of thing.. BB is not about building a team and selling, training going up the yellow brick road for success. Management has to happen season one.

Now here where the problem , in today climate of BB we are some what punished for every move we make. every buy, trade or builds is going to come back on your team now. I understand fairness and etc. but training will not ease taxes of cost or ther-forth, its just a dead cycle of" Get'em while they are hot", with the way the market is set up it going to be a while to find a good pattern of success, SO in my mind Financial management has to start season one.

.
Do the arena if you do nothing else, I feel the cost are worth it in the long haul. I also think learning a few tactic will be much cheaper for a team long term. Same way some learned LI/LP. Take that attitude to other tactic to save money/ those two can be used as a insurance policy. not very hard to understand those two.

Now pait offence is not a expensive tactic. All you need is 3 good players and some solid back up. Get some potential that wont be 30-40K. You can still build a solid bench defender with bad potential players. Some buy old but I t investing in bad youth and make them defensive which Im doing now. They do have offensive skill with the cross training or 1-2 tactics.. They never hit above 20k in worth,

The point in that is about cost and saving. It not about re-selling and all of that. You can play and be competitive with blowing the bank/ Yes it going to harder come play off time. But long term , The money will be their with having olds that lose skill.

It wouldn't be bad to alter the game's most prominent strategy to training if training was efficient.

Right now, if someone wants to train quality players in a short time (short time = 2 real life years) the maximum number of players he can train is 3, as there are only 3 48 minute games for 1 position training.

So, he needs to buy 7 other players during these seasons. With these prices and the lowering of FA amounts this is impossible (except he is in a micronation and always plays in top level with lots of income).

His other option is to train another 3 players when he finishes his first bunch of 3 trainees and if he's extremely lucky he can have all 6 of them playing for 1-2 seasons before the first bunch starts losing skills. He needs ~ 4 real life years. Possible but boring for people with lives.

All these IF he has adequate knowledge of training and some knowledge of tactics to know what to train and how to use it.

I'm gaining 120.000$/week in II division after I trained 3 players for 2 years. I barely manage to avoid playouts despite having one of the lowest total of salaries in my division (these are the benefits of training).

But I have to tank (because I'm tanking, I'm not competing for something) for 1,5 seasons to get 1 and only 1 player.

Sorry, but this isn't fun anymore. It's tedious and boring. There is a thin line between challenging, hard but rewarding to boring with no real payoffs and BB has crossed it a while ago.

I liked BB a lot when I started because it gave me options to develop my team. Now, this thing has changed.
