lol.
and here i was expecting another Ximes vs Joe outburst on the forum. common guy's, give a GM some fun to ban someone for bad behaviour on the forums :P ( joking around about the banning).
truth be told, i'm happy to reminds with that. just figured out one very annoying problem with having skype. It tried to dial the numbers joe refered to in his post :S gonna find a way to turn that off on my internet pages...
In order to face Rev's expectations... I am briefly back on Joe's forum... Or BBBL's forum i meant...just to underline that the past last posts confirmed all i indicated during the above mentioned "outburst" session. Seasons are passing and the low fairplay attitudes and comments of Joe remain. Sure he will as usual reply in order to have the last word and it would be logical as it's HIS forum and seem not to have other things to do than be connected on BB. Fortunately it's not my case. :)
Suerte para todos for the PO and RL!
well, just gonna point out: it ain't Joe's forum. he's just one manager who's slightely more active on the fora than others. But you need those kind of people to drag in the others for a conversation on your forum.
Joe's a competitor. it has it's advantages aswell as disadvantages. It forces everyone to up their game if they want to have shot at beating him, which imo is one of the many good things. Joe knows a lot about the game and shares his knowledge, so those certainly are positive things.
The downside is that he's sometimes 'overcompetitive'. Joe wants to compete and i'll admit, he could handle certain situations differently. I've got the impression that Joe wants to excell in what he does, and he doesn't always think his actions thru. Because of that, his intensions are sometimes misunderstood, but as far as i know, he has yet to break any rules.
Truth be told, i too make mistakes ( recently made a pretty big one). Everyone makes mistakes. it's how you try to make up for them which defines what type of person you are ( again, personal oppinion).
Everyone has other oppinions about Fairplay. Some find it unfair to make TIE-deals. I find it personally unfair not notifying my opponent if i'm throwing that game, because could screw up his training/minutes. That is a personal belief, one which many will consider as unfair. Just a personal belief of mine. I'm pretty sure plenty of BBBL managers got a mail when i was throwing a game.
PS: Rev, would be an honor to be banned jointly with Vottem and his palmares ;)
i know you dislike Joe, but i was kinda hoping that you'd use your 'quarrel' as fuel to get a better team to beat Joe in the BBBL, rather than being happy to get banned if Joe would get banned aswell.
Banning managers is always a sad thing. Guy's put effort into their teams, yet they didn't do it according to the rules. Banning a team means your undoing all the work that guy did to put his team together. Even if someone cheated, it's still frustrating to lose your team and having to start over again... So you could comparing banning someone as being fired form your job and having to start all over again. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like that, so please refrain from making such comments in the futur ;)
