Heathcliff Attackers needs a Rajon Rondo or so, because his offensive movement isn't great.

The situation you described is precisely what 2-3 is designed for.

Am I to understand that the "2-3 is broken" argument is centered around the concept that 2-3 should work in situations it wasn't meant for?

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I just wanna say a few things. (to be honest I only read like half of this post)

In Real Life going inside is better. You have to attack. So Nelly's Wariors while being entertaining weren't too successful. I would say Look Inside is the most effective offence in RL!
2-3 zone is the one zone that is often employed in NBA. How do you beat it? 3pt shots, drive and kick.
So no surprises there. 2-3 would be effective vs Low Post, which I'm not sure it is at BB, really..
2-3 advantage is also the fact that it eliminates opponents pick'n'rolls, pick'n'pops, but since they're invisible in BB, you can't see this advantage either.

The problem and deviations from RL I think is how skills work. Which guards in RL are poor at lay-ups?
It's the first thing you learn. In BB it's very hard to train IS for guards, so everyone trains their outside skills, thus creating and outside oriented teams.

BB somehow manage to reinstall the proper balance giving an edge to inside teams. I can see it being unfair to people who care more about consistency of BB than its similarity to real life.

p.s. A fantastic idea, bringing everything together, balancing training and salaries was put forth earlier. A new skill called Athleticism with 6'7 players gaining a slight more RL-like advantage, addressing Shot Blocking skill.

Why this imbalance between zones, why 3-2 is so easy to set and 2-3 is that hard to make it work????

And if BB's wanna leave the 2-3 just for some high ranked teams, then the others managers we deserve a new inside zone that works as 3-2 does but in the inside focus.

Just imagine what will happen if 2-3 were as efficient as 3-2, people just to choose to play RnG instead of LI because it will be cheaper to form a team for RnG and what it takes to form a team that will play efficiently for look LI? It takes a lot of time and money to build a team like Histovar or Nitra Cargons, look how much money Nitra Cargons spent on his LI orientated team - SF, Cs with high secondary skills if 2-3 can easily can stop teams like Nitra Corgons why bother training players out of position, buying expensive SF with high IS, just buy 3 SGs with high JS and JR and play RnG?

As someone who recently bought a pretty expensive SF with good IS, I'm starting to think BBs may make sudden changes that will make me regret it.

Exactly I want to buy expensive SF and train SGs out of position but if BB change 2-3 zone, it might be not worth it to build efficient LI team.
