to be honest i dont think an extra 15% warrants the extra 20k a week, its just ridiculous. The chances of that so called "gem" being in that 15% is well 1 in 6. Yet with 20K a week you still get nearly half the draft and with that you can make informed picks. Even if you do find that "gem" and even if it was because of that extra 20K a season the chances of you actually drafting it, even if you are 5th or something is unlikely (if you are in an active league). Furthermore, its an extra 280k a week, in order to justify that kind of spending, not only would you have to draft the epic player but you would have to sell him in a seas of draftees and hope to get alot of money, 280k more than you would have if you had sold any other player.

Now i can see how other people take the other side of the argument, and for people who are likely to sell their draftees it may be a good idea, but for someone like me who likes to keep his, provided i can use them.... I would prefer to save the extra 280k

The season is 14 weeks that part is right. If i remember correctly everyone gets 14 free pieces of information. Which is added to what you pay for. So if u scout 4 players a week all season you end up with 70 pieces of information made up of 14 (free information) and 56 (14*4) from scouting. There are 96 pieces of information so 70/96 equals 72.9%.

But those "extra" weeks you mention are included, since you don't get to use those weeks from the current season. So it's 14 weeks of scouting for each season, just some of those weeks occur in the prior season/off-season. In looking at the finances for scouting, this season's scouting began on 3/15 (so during season 11) and ran through 6/14, which is 14 weeks of scouting.
