i had chatted the night before i played Stonestars with Nico on skype. didn't check his ingame stuff :(

Amenra has got 2 good players. figured that he would try to win that one, thus wanted to play safe. u would have too. The main problem is that i've got no confidence in the players that i have right now.

As for the princeton, i had my reasons to try it. MY biggest let down was my SF in that game. i was expecting more from him with his skillset.

And Joe, don't be frustrated about me going down. tbh, it would be a bigger problem if i stayed in the BBBL, because then training would become a problem for my 2 main trainees ( J-J and Kaiser. Mika is comming allong so fast that i'm likely to sell him very soon since he isn't in my future plans)

not sure if i should be happy or sad this week. Minutes were totally screwed up in the win vs RC.

2 injuries gave my coach a reason to ignore my set up and do as he pleased... meuh. Ow well, atleast the victory against Obira isn't a must win anymore. got my win of the week.

If dartreb is able to train Claeys outside in the bloodbath conference, you should be able to train your 3 nice trainees in the deep sea ;)

Much to my opponent's pleasure certainly, no doubt Eagles was happy with tonight's line-up ... But as I previously said, no way to win all 3 this week. Let's go for 2 :p

Right on, Dartreb, i'm very pleased with tonight's outcome of our game :-D
Didn't expect a win against you, but then again, didn't know in advance you would set your b squad either.
Although i didn't expect it, when looking at your next games and cup draw i was hoping it, so i still set my best current team (without my injured starting SG) and my GS is currently high also, thanks to the easy cup draws i had thus far.
I must say, i never been so lucky in my cup draws as i am this season, it's almost one bot team after the other, even now in round 6, i was so lucky to draw one of the few bot teams left in the cup.
But i've got a bad feeling my luck is gonna change in the next cup draw, because you only can get so lucky you know...

Well, this was absolutely impossible for me to win 3 games against such high profiles as Tienen, Ganshoren and yourself. Of course I wasn't going to let you know in advance that I would have dropped it :p

I admit I'm kind of jealous to see the cup draws you're currently getting. No matter what future ones are, each yime it is an easy round to manage properly both training and GS.

I probably should dump the Cup but sadly I can't afford to pass on the 50 k / week this generates. But this season for me is an all-time record : BBBL at home, former BBBL at home, former BBBL away. Of course, 2 D.2 that are almost good enough to claim a BBBL spot soon enough ...

The only thing I'm happy with this season is injuries. Still had none so far, let's hope it just stays that way.

Good "half-time" post from Joe. Who is definitely cruising on to another BBBL trophy, no doubt about it. KV wan't able to stop him, and no way it should go otherwise when Joe gets HCA in the final. I'm afraid it will take a retirement from Cowboys management for other to claim the precious trophy xD Just kidding of course, having such a formidable opponent can just drive other managers into becoming better.

With Joe having a firm hold on the championship, I can see how many teams are going for the Cup. That's the best way indeed to have a nice run of wins, especially with good cup draws and/or home games. I think RC, Q and Heyland are going for it, as well as several others in the Deep Sea conference. So "funny" results in BBBL should arise because of that ...

Joe,

what do you mean exactly with "perfectly 'in time' " ?

I'm actually very happy with my current 5th spot, and i'll be very satisfied if i can keep it until the end of the season, that would be a very successfull first season ever in the BBBL for the Eagles, don't you think ?

Also, becoming a top BBBL team does certainly not happen overnight, so we have a longterm game plan in place with the goal of becoming a permanent BBBL team, and hopefully even one of the top BBBL teams.
But it's a plan spanned over several seasons, so don"t expect anything spectacular anytime soon. But in time, as the plan works out (hopefully), we hope the Eagles can accomplish some amazing results in the BBBL.
But again, as i said, it is a LONGTERM game plan, because i don't believe in quick results as they almost always go at the cost of other things. The Eagles more believe in a slow and steady rise, a mindset herited by it's manager ;-)

Stonestars is second but I don't think he will win many other games, so he should end the season at the 7th position, a very good news for the future 6th in the Deep Sea.

a little birdy in my ear has whispered me not to count on it. That little birdy has a name, 5 letters long and starts with a X. i'm pretty sure u know him too, under that same name.
