Fair enough too, I reckon you could get 2M if you wanted to sell him, certainly from what I saw on the TL scouting for my trainee.. Lucky bastard :)

well neeber i believe you are favourite to take the championship this season.

you had a bad run into the playoffs last season having to use a CT and Playoff CT within 3 games which left you with damaged enthusiasm to take on the hippos.

so yes you are favourite in my books, especially with what i have heard from brett with what his side is doing

Rad you were robbed.

CT vs TIE check.
2-3 vs LI check.
LI vs 3-2 check.
My best player fouled out in 18 minutes check.
My new prodigious scorer missed the team bus check.

You did everything right but I am lucky that while I maybe lack a little star power and screwed a few things up, the team is better than their coach and I have a fairly deep team with guys that perform well for their wages.

Gisborne, Beasts, ACT, BE High and Hippos all 2-0, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I did ALMOST everything right.
I played for training minutes instead of the win and thus didn't put the great wall on the court.
he would have made a ginormous difference. :) next time we play i'll try to win and sacrifice either 1 week of training or GS. :P

but yes everything you mentioned should have assured my team the win, but clearly i'm no longer getting the value for money from my roster.
perhaps some changes are in order.

will the rangas stay in 6th now?

it was a good game to watch lads, i am surprised ranga would go all out with the CT for the win, and then not play best side...

no ranga, i cant see you staying in 6th for long.. i think most teams in this league would be 0-2 with the opening schedule you had.. and we all know even if you did, just so you could focus on training, you could field your team with lucky fans for the relegation battle..

not sure about some of the purchases being made at the moment.. people seem to be paying big dollars for 'superstar' potential players, that are 20+ and not well trained judging by their salaries.

hopefully for the dreamers, our new stadium will be up and running in time for the next home game against the boganators :D

Don't you mean (singular) team? SammyDog, if you reading this buddy I think someone has been pulling your leg.

My Assumptions;

Sammy is going patriotic and reverting back to an Oz line up.. Admirable but not worth the dollars you are putting up for them.
Merch will go up with an Oz roster.. Yep but not nearly enough to be worth it, I would assume your merch will only go up by about 10-15k a week which will take you a long time to get back the money you spent on them.

Your C has potential to be the best in the league so use him as your core player and fit some players around him.

On a lighter note, cup games tomorrow boys, loving the Div IV team that seems to have just found an owner :) TIE plus Bench roster still = EASY W!

not just SD, but a couple of teams that have made purchases seem to be buying based on potential, and not ratings... i dont think an all aus team would raise merch that much?

I have invited sammy to the forums, but got no response, so hopefully he can get involved :D

I think it would, obviously it is dependent on the star rating of your player as well, guess it is really hard to define as a figure as I personally don't get a great deal of merch, bout 30k.. I would like to train more SS aussies I can't justify paying 1 mill for the same skills as I got my current 18yr/o for.. What I would do for a draft pick like Flanagan!
