What has made you an OrioleMan as you stated in your speech? And to add on to that, would you spend that same amount of money on improving the U21?

vote for Phyr or managers won't train U21 players for you. No wants to waste their time training if we have a bad manager. The off-site is the reason we have 4 golds not the cabal. So GODBEAR, if you become U21 manager how are you going to scout players and gameplan?

If he were to resign, then we have many other viable options in our stable.

As I have said many times, we need a results based executive to this program. Someone who can sort through the gameplan thoughts of not only the experienced and talented minds we have in our structure, but those who will spend their entire BB career in D4 as well.

Don't forget about NOVA NATION NIGHT. It's going to be huge.

basically. If I was Phyr and I lost the election I would fire all 3 of my world bigs. Two of them being the best bigs in that class. I don't think Phyr would scout for you. I'm not scouting if Phyr doesn't win and I'll fire my American bigs I picked up for U21. As coach you still have to scout. You are only one that knows everyone skills. You would have to call-up tons of players and get all their skills putting them in a spreadsheet. No one else can do that but you. All the scouts do is ask for training plans. WE ARE LUCKY TO MAKE IT OUT THE FIRST ROUND THAT'S THE TYPE OF TEAM WE HAD THIS YEAR. WE HAD NO BIGS OR PGs. ALL WE HAD SGs AND LOW PASSING INSIDE GUARDS. PHYR MANANGE TO GET A SLIVER. NO ONE ELSE IN BB WOULD OF BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT. Phyr changed training plans and made gusty calls. We were playing for bronze and got sliver.

lol I'm training some crazy builds right now while expanding my arena that's why I'm in D4. I know what I'm doing lol. This is my 3th time playing BB. Your funny and a great promoter. I'm not sure about you coaching skills for U21 though.

Actually we were playing for the GOLD and we got the silver. In a game we should of won.

Just because I'm some lousy D4 managers currently doesn't mean I don't work with the off-siters. I'm not a terrible manger just because I relegated every season in IV but this season. I've just been changing my training plan alot but I've now made my mind up. I'm really involved with the off-site. I'm not the only off-siter who will stop training. They might not fire the players like I will but they will start secondary training most likely so it will benefit their club still. I planned on scouting players like I did last season. I scouted 20yr olds, who are 21yr old now, last season.

I think the off-site would have a job opening for you. You could be promoting US mangers to train U21/NT and telling NBBA/D2 teams to pickup NT players. You could get the forum pumped for our world seasons by coming up with nights. You could get more people involved with U21/NT.

I wouldn't want to deal with a trainer like you if I won. I'd rather win without your players than be hostage to a manager completely loyal to another. The U21 will survive.

Firing value from your team is illogical.

I understand that you feel your community is threatened and under attack. The same way I felt that my community was under attack after seeing the results of the U21 worlds finals.

Wow. This thread has blown up in more ways than one and at the risk of a hasty generalization, pretty much everyone who's posted in this thread has embarrassed themselves, myself included.

We have the current U21 manager being fairly antagonistic in his defense (to be fair, he is being antagonized and criticized very unfairly).

We have the two biggest contenders doing their very best to piss off the most involved member of their constituency:

Thegame187 basically saying he has no intention of using the offsite and he believes himself to be better than everyone else so he doesn't see the value in getting opinions from the offsite community, most of whom he believes to be inferior. Debatable, highly offensive.

Godbear blatantly misrepresenting Phyr, misrepresenting the US, and misrepresenting himself. I'm still not sure if his campaign is a joke but it's really not funny. He portrays Phyr as having lost a game we should have won. The claim that we should have won is more debatable than he seems to think; I don't think Godbear has any evidence to support his claim that we should have won other than this belief that since we're the US, we must have been better than France. He also blatantly misrepresents the argument for Phyr as "because E.B.W. and Phyr say so" while ignoring Phyr's qualifications and everything he's done right to help the NT. And he talks about the USA as "my community" and such grandiose rhetoric, when the reality is, if the USA National Team is "his community", he hasn't shown any sign of it--has never said a word or lifted a finger to help at any point in the past.

Nova Nation saying that U21 trainers should quit/fire their trainees if Godbear or thegame187 is hired. I think this is an inappropriate sentiment if you really want to help the U21 national team and only serves to strengthen the otherwise spurious argument that getting Phyr into office is more important than electing the right person for the job. However, I also think it illustrates perfectly the kind of backlash that Godbear and thegame187 are stirring up for themselves. It just isn't good politics or good business to elect leaders or managers who are going to break apart a well-established, successful organization and who have alienated the people who provide support and insight and who also control the means of production (the players themselves). If this were a real life campaign of any kind, any expert would tell you they don't deserve to win for how they've conducted themselves.
