We can say everything but we must admit that the reaction of the BB in this game is immediate when there are something to be corrected. Today we saw this with stamina, I think we will see soon other results also in the difficult trading field.
What about the possibility to put a tax in the base price? There isn't still an exact idea of the value of the players so who's using to day trade can only put an high price hoping that someone will offer; one offer means sure money. This taxation is useful but if I want to make some good profit I've only to raise a little bit the basis price. Putting a taxation on the basis price will reduce a little bit more the profit of everyone wants to speculate with the players.

A tax does nothing to curb it, it only reduces the profits to be made. The only way a tax works is if it actually a tax, and not just a fee. Perhaps the taxes could go to the other players in the division, then it provides some real incentive to curb daytrading.

I still think the best way to deal with it is to simply limit the number of trades allowed. You could do it per week, per season, whatever, but it is the only real way to limit this problem with any type of fairness.

This way those who are good at recognizing profitable players on the market can still make a buck on trading, but it will not be the only economic factor of significance since other players can make money by selling players they've trained, or the old old-fashioned way....by winning and selling tickets.

Any action taken to hamper trading will likely effect something else unforseen.

Congratulations, everyone! Take a look at your draft picks from the Season 2 draft:
You will receive 91% of the sale price after fees.

Draft picks should be seen the same as original team members. With the new agent fees, the draft picks you get this season that you don't want will net you 20% less than the selling price, rather than 3% less. Great.

the rule changes have taken all the fun out of the Transfer market and as a result the TL is now a graveyard... for new players wanting to experiment and pick up different players it is simply not worth it....

Congrats on destroying a large element of the game.....
anyone complaining about not having enough time to log on...

well with 5mins now your can scout your opponent set your orders and thats about it... i would imagine the TL was the main part of the game that kept people online playing BB.....

lets see.... is the rule open to be changed again...

Superfly for most of us transfer market isn't fun, it's only a way to buy player for the team, like in reality. I've never seen a team tells:"Ok let's go to buy 100 players to make some experiments". Then with this taxes you can continue to buy players; if you really want them for experiment you've to keep them on the team for some weeks, but I'm sure the truth is that you don't need for experiment but for money, like Borrego bought 10/12 sold 14/12; he was a bad experiment?
In my opinion there will be still a lot of day traders with this low taxation, you cannot blame the new sistem, with Borrego you should get 400k profit instead of 650k, I think it's still a good way to make money, don't you think?

Edit: Of course nothing of personal against you ;) I don't like at all this "strategy", that's all ;)

I'll quote you here ned ;) Good posting.

And I agree with darykjozef, that draft picks should be considered as original team members, so 97%.

Do you always have to be so sarcastic in your posts?
We are just sharing opinions here...

Sorry if you don't like the new rules on the transfer market. Personally I do, and I think they are a good compromise between keeping the market up and stable and limiting some extreme traders from making too easy money.

In another game i play, tax on players bought in the last 3 weeks is 95% of PROFIT (sale price - buy price) so a 400K player sold for 650K couple days later you get 412.5K and thus day trading is a waste of time :-)

3-6 weeks is 75%, 6-9 50%, 9-12 could be 25% and then if you sell after a whole season there is no tax or something like 10%. Still of PROFIT not of the sale price.

This doesn't take money out the economy as you get all the buy price back provided you make a profit. It supports people to keep their players a while and only buy sensible ones. But still lets a skilled person make nice money improving their team, not just day trading.

With a record of 10-11 maybe you ought to be spending a little more time scouting your opponent and less time trying to buy and sell players for profit...
