slimey03 you are clearly the team to beat on this side of the draw but surely any of you razzy or koop can win on the right day so the final seedings may be vital

it is a huge advantage for whoever has to play me or ypb in the first round rather than one of you three beasts

but good as you guys are it is going to take somehing special to beat the meateors

maybe the best chance is them losing in the sf if they try to PON or play a weaker roster to save up enthusiasm or minutes for the finals

naturally any injury can always change anything

but i stil expect the finals to be meaty over slimey

Not sure why everyone is tipping me for the title, I suppose you like dissapointment.

In my last game to Steve Crocs I lost, and I lost to Downunder and Koops this season also.

According to most people, my biggest 3 threats, who everyone thinks I will beat, all beat me the last time we met.

we are not as naive as you think we are... sure we beat you, but you didnt even try in those games...

I'm sure in the PO the circumstances will be a lot different should you meet those teams again.

Aussie Battlers are flying under the radar... they've upset most of the other top teams, but lost to some of the weaker teams. They could be a surprise championship contender.

Flames went all out with a CT this round and now have to play the relegation series with low enthusiasm. I don't think they have a chance against Ratman. Aussie Pride vs. Kynlala Knights could go either way, too close to call at the moment.

well after everything going perfectly for the season this round was an utter disaster for us

i was looking 75% likley to make 4th, dont care about the money, it is trivial, but the achievement would mean everything to me

then i lost the game to the surging rat and in the same time downunder thunker threw the game with yarra park which i cant understand at all, don't they want 2nd seed, and suddenly i am 5th

yarra park has also now spent $1.3 million on some new dude so it loks like they are planning to have a shot at koop in the playoffs

as for the rat, since he dropped the 2 million on Héctor Abundis and especially Noe Goodes he has been virtually unbeatable, but i cant really understand his strategy

he has spent a fortune, hasnt changed his league position, and has worsened his draft position, he obviously has deep pockets after 5 seasons in d2, but i cant understand his thinking unless he was worried about the relegation matches, but if he can wipe the floor with dt and razzies, then the flames will be a cakewalk

interesting to see everyones salaries at this time

no surprise to see meateors on top, with crocs, koop and razzies right there, funny to see the rat spending with the big boys tho, thunder spends a lot as does now ypb with their new addition, it looks like from aussie pride down, we just arent trying...

I'm just trying to set my team up for next season. Not gonna threat the likes of DT, Razzle, and koop for another few seasons yet. Just trying to get a bit more balance and see how things go. Plus I slightly overpaid for that player I just got, cause I can never find anyone at a decent hour.

As far as the match against DT goes, I believe he Tied so it benefits him in the playoffs and also played different players then in his last match so game shape can be right. Will still get 2nd now if I can somehow beat RD. Razzle is still a tough team to beat, so you may still end up in 4th. Anyway, its that time of the season where people are doing all different sorts of things to try and get the most of their team for when it counts most.

I agree - it was more about managing players minutes and enthusiam. No hard feelings Goldy.
Even though i didnt put my strongest team in I still felt that I had a competitive team and they were for 3 qtrs. Its one of those lessons you learn about your team.

This season the seedings are still up in the air right until the last game of the season. The top teams have a real advantage as they can just sit back and watch the other teams beat themselves up. Because of that I am going to predict a Koop & Meat to be in the box seat. Are they the best teams though? We'll find out soon!
