There is always the alternative to play so bad that you get first draft pick as you pay 40k for scouting every week. That should pretty much guarantee that you get a good draftee.

The real problem is that this is not true, I will be more than happy to invest this amount and also an higher amount if I'll be sure to have a decent player to train. You can try. No one team in my division picked a good young this season, I can't train a 19 yo with potential lvl 3.
Anyway I stop to answer, my point of view is that draft has an influence in the economy, due to this I ask if it's possible or to reduce the impact in the economy of the draft (selling 18yo and merchandising) or change the draft system.

I've opened the thread cause I've tried, you know I play here since season 2 I had time to try a lot of things, including paying a PR lvl 5 (old system) for 2 complete seasons.
It's quite easy you can check by yourself, the best player is a 3,5K/week potential lvl 8 (but I don't know the skills) the second one is a 3,5K/week potential lvl 6.
We are playing at the same game?

I don't understand which are the positive aspects of the draft that you see and why do you think that it doesn't need to be improve, I tried to bring some arguments, in your last post you didn't say anything to support your love with the actual draft system so at the end I really don't understand why you (like others) want to keep this draft but I respect your opinion, even if I think that if you can support it with some real arguments I'll be more than happy to listen and maybe to follow your opinion ;)

It SHOULD be, but it isn't. As I said in an earlier post, I had the first picks in seasons 13 and 14 and drafted the best player in both drafts. I sold them for 200k and and 370k. That's not what I consider 'good draftees', especially since other draftees are worth millions.

I'm really glad that there is no guaranteed reward for throwing one or two seasons. So I still think the draft system is good as it is now. How many LeBron James' or DRose's are there in one Draft Season worldwide? I'd say it'll be less than 10. Some of them end up playing Baseball others earn millions in the NBA.

I don't ask to have a guarentee LBJ or Rose in the draft,I would be satisfied if I can pick at least a Taj Gibson or a Courtney Lee if I'm in an high position in the draft

I seem to remember somebody (not pointing fingers...) saying its sooooo hard to move up through the game, and especially in hard countries like spain and italy. I remember gazillions of managers complaining about how they make no money and how the higher leagues can make money they cannot

I think you are talking about managers who don't want to put enough time into the game to read the whole manual and maybe some useful forum posts, make long-term plans or carefully pick their players from TL. I'm not saying they should be involved 2-3 hours/day into BB, but a lot of managers think they will be promoting every season into higher league with mediocre management.
