This activity creates gathering.
This activity creates more enthusiasm and interest at the game for the users who plays it.

So, yes, it will add to their game, as more users will take more actions regarding it.

If this thread would have made something that would harm the game (like code exposure) it would never be available at this thread or any thread that is part of their site.

I will also add, that I guess that they are dynamically changing all the parameters from season to season, to make it a challenging game and not an eBay/Formula game. So, it is interesting to learn about the trends, but it will not show the full picture.
Otherwise - it would not be available here from the exact reasons written above.

Well that we gather data is noting they see as a problem i guess. But they will never actively help in the revealing of any code or formula behind anything. And i dont think that by doing so would get more people to play this game.
A lot of things dont change at all for long periods of time. Like the training or game engine that only has seen some few changes to them under these 18 seasons the game has been around. So i guess that by not changing it every season it is a e-bay game then so be it.
Who said that "THEY" will give the formula?!?
I wrote that it will be nice to have this tool a feature where one can enter his own formula that (he) believes to be close to the BB's formula and compare it to the data - see if it fits.

Changing the formula every (few) season(s), even just a bit, will make it a change (that one will never know of), and will make the game more interesting and challenging.

By posting this on the news page they wold indirectly be involved in revealing the effect of age, trainer level, elastic effect and other things that has to do with training.
They allow it here, there is no difference.
It only limit the (supposed) benefit for a smaller group, and by that making the game biased for the others.

This tool is (supposedly) gives great advantage to those who are aware of.
As such, it is expected to be recomended to all users - BB-mail, Half-time entertainment or the best place for that - News page.
A page that gives the users the main changes in the game, and this knowledge is exactly that.

In addition - this tool will be usefull when the DB will be as big as can be. For that there is a need for others to join.
I have a feeling that (again) you like to have an advantage that is not related to anything that is related to BB-managing.
