Low OD C = off the team even if he had highest RB...
Low OD SF = starts because he can rebound.

This logic is seroiusly flawed.

Low OD for a C is like inept/mediocre.

Low OD for a SF is like prolific.

the game engine change is coming.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

This is what happens with a blank sometimes......
His G's were subbing in at PF and C. There was one point where I had two or three 5 OREB possessions. And when the SF(he did bust at the PF/C position) rotated in at PF and C....Look out, my two Level 19 rebounders when buck.
And Asano, 10 pts 10 rebs and 5 assist and Motoori 15 pts....Great games for the Nippon boys.

The japanese NT had problems with a blank just this season.....I forget what game but Tsunami at SG and Furasawa at SF....that surely can't be the best line up. How about last season when Furasawa would take long pulls at SF. Well, maybe next season we won't be talking about Blanks because they may get rid of them for the NT system which would be a very good thing.

Agreed. The ability to run blanks - and have them be MORE (at times) effective than setting a line-up - is simply something not working as intended in the game mechanics.

IF we are worried about the SF spot, partial blank with Tsunami Oishi 2 deep and leave the 3rd spot open or put in Ueda or Asano there.

I am getting the feeling that these rants are about Tsunami's lack of playing time. I was actually enjoying this thread this season because it didn't have a bunch of , MY PLAYER THIS and MY PLAYER THAT...Now it has reverted back to that a bit.
I thought we were talking about blanks and the need/not need for rebounding at the SF spots.
So I will get back on those points...
I only blank in games I know I will win...
BB3, I have only faced 1 blank line up in my 7 games and that game I won.
last season you said everyone in the BB3 ran blanks. I have not seen that so far.
OD and REBOUNDING at the SF spot.
I would rather have a 12 OD and a 15 REB over a 15 OD 11 REB at the SF spot....If they change the GE to where people will start to train JS/JR or run outside O....then I would re-think my opinion.
King Drive Ballers was selling his SF after his BB3 run last season and his SF had 11 OD, 15 IS/ID/REB and he had 11 REB at the SG spot to go along with two 18's at PF/C. I read that and I copyied it for this season...exept I only have 9 REB at the SG but two 19's at PF/C.....and it has done me good so far. It has let me keep my salary down and even win over half of my BB3 games. I do know this, the possession after an OREB is juiced(better % of it going in) and they lead to tip ins which = easy buckets or fouls. This is what a lot of teams are doing. The reason is not to many people have 12+ ID at the SF spot if they have a PG/SF there. And the mismatch of a 15 IS on a 9 ID while running LI is much better than a 15 JS 12 JR hitting a three while running LI. And 99% of people run LI.

If we lack depth, and better selections to the team wont help, then partial blanks is usually the answer.
Only a few teams in the b3 have 12 deep of startable quality, in these cases they use partials.
Tsunami ain't a SG ;)....STunners is using Oishi there and I will use Krejci there going forward.
For the SF spot though...I think the problems we had with blanks was more last season cuz at that time we really didn'T have enough SFs.
IF we are worried about the SF spot, partial blank with Tsunami Oishi 2 deep and leave the 3rd spot open or put in Ueda or Asano there.
The question is how mnay minutes will guys play out of position vs. stamina boost. Most people are finding the Stamina boost to just be too lucrative.

1) Ueda is not an SF. I didnt think he was a SG, but in the LI era, that is his best position considering his other atributes.

You are talking about "out of position". What does that really mean? Bottom line is, from SF to C, we need 50+ reb points. so match how you like

maybe that is 12 19 19. Maybe 13 17 20 Maybe 15 17 18. Maybe even 11 19 20. But when we dont have that, it just means more defensive possessions, which means more fouls, more injuries, more wearing down of players, and lastly, more chances for the other team to score.

There is no way around not having rebounding in this game. There just isnt. We dont even have a 200k player yet.

It makes NT Japan look like a joke.

Three skill that DMI/salary cant hide. Passing, reb, inside scoring. and im sure its because those are the most important skills in the game.

As for Stunners using Oishi, thats actually a good argument for Tsunami playing SG. We know LI is coming.

What everyone has to remember, the game engine can sub bascially one play at a time, something humans cant do. that of course means guys can get stuck in the wrong position down the stretch of a game.

The way i see it, if the game is going to be close, leaving it up to a blank is too risky.
