well my unbeaten run came to an end when i conceded 137 points... this was my opponents highest total yet i played 3-2 defense achieved the highest Outside Defence he has ever faced and yet still got beat comfortably...

I guess its just keep training keep improving and over time the GE will side with the better teams...

You need to try to improve your handling, your Offensive Flow is pretty low and you had pretty much TO's.

And what a crazy amount of freetrows in that game hehe. 98 FT's.

Your'e right. I can't find the slots to train handling and passing...
As for the Ft's it's also strange because both teams have played outside. From my 2 seasons experience I've noticed that inside games tend to involve more fouls than outside (Please correct me if I'm wrong - It might be just a coincidence...)
What affects more on offensive flow, handling or passing?

thanks

Time will tell I guess...
I still have a lot to improve if I wish to take the national championship.

I think passing affects the offensive flow more than handling, but they are both important.

Not the first time such stupid things happen. Change something or the BBs will soon be playing alone again.

If the game was created to have the best ratings win every time, the userbase would be a lot smaller.

Clearly the BBs will not be "playing alone again" any time soon.

We will see.

But don't get me wrong. No game is created to be without surprises or emotional stimuli.

Complaints about lost matches can become boring, at least I feel so. But so do stereotype reactions to complaints or worries...

Don't you think there is room for discussion between "crappy engine" on one hand and "take anything as it is" on the other hand?

I am very serious about my initial statement. It is a disadvantage of BB that not only some but a lot of matches go to the team with weaker ratings. It is a disadvantage that BOT-teams have strong ratings. Or do you know a couple of users who are specifically attracted by these features? I know a couple of users who stopped playing because they didn't understand such phanomena.

And finally: I decided (edit: a while ago) to stick to the game. But that's in spite of and not because of these shortcomings. Just don't anybody sell them to me as features. I like the game, I can take losses and I am not angry about the latest result. I just don't think it's good for the game.

Of course.

This game isn't going to grow without user input.

Several of the new features and improvements came from user-solicited suggestions.

However, that still doesn't mean we should have a game that's strictly better ratings = win.

With around 100,000 games or so a week being played worldwide, you're going to see some outlier results happen - it's just a matter of odds.
