This is getting painful....lets try this from the top

You can not claim something to be a fact unless someone has succeeded doing it.

(152075.96)

I'm making about 30k a week now (not including bonuses) and making very little value on training. I could easily sell of all of my players and tank for a the next 2-3 seasons and end up in D.III while doing some great training that's not possible while trying to compete. It would be easy to profit 200-300k per week minimum going this route, netting millions every season. With that bankroll and 3 well trained players you could build a super team that nobody would be able to compete with.

Where in there is a statement of fact? I see a few "could"'s and "would".

If you knew you wanted to win B3 (game over, lol?), before trying something stupid, then why mention you have considered it at all? Because you actually never thought about going through with it?

No, i asked you to grow up for acting like an 8 year old. Your right, i should just go thru with this to prove something to some dude on a BB forum that I already can't stand because he dared me. Good point.

When you made up the crazy story about this being a plot of mine to get Heathens and my fellow rivals to quit in the same post where you asked someone about "being real", that's where I pointed out the irony.

Because you actually never thought about going through with it?

It's possible that while tanking for 3 seasons would be successful it might not be very fun for almost a full calendar year.

Sadly, it is futile to argue with people who have presupposed notions of what is and what isn't.

I know several people in the USA IV divisions who seem to be having fun playing BuzzerBeater. I guess some people might quit if the refinancing plot failed, but others might be happy to have a fresh start and enjoy new surroundings.

The Thai team cut his roster by 400k and is currently in 4th place in his division. So it is a very attractive strategy in a small country. In a large country I think the first season would net you a lot of cash, and the opportunity to buy quality local trainees is 100x higher than in a small country. So although it would obviously be more difficult (no need to come back with " Italy is hard because it is big" again Steve Karenn- we get that and have gotten since you first started posting it in season 3, about 7000 posts ago), there are some feasibly decent perks for teams doing it in those countries.

Personally I am with Brian on this- that it is kind of a shame that a viable strategy is to be as uncompetitive as possible. But I also agree that rebuilding is a definite part of sports, and like the idea that new blood will get a chance to shine as older teams get, well, older. One thing I don't particularly like is that it seems to make the other viable strategy to never hold onto your players- to constantly be buying and selling your team so that you keep a constant string of sellable, talented 24 year old players on your team. I like the idea of building a team identity, not one of a revolving door team of Rickey Hendersons.

I don't know what the answers are or if any are needed. There are 50000+ managers of the game and about 150 of us who post on these boards. I think it's a great game and a great concept. There are going to be areas where reality and playability collide, but that is the case with any simulation.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

whether i did it or not doesnt change the fact that it's possible.
I'm gonna help you out on the fact part.
It's possible that while tanking for 3 seasons would be successful
Again why do you mention it, when you actually never thought of going through with it?
So I am an 8 year old, because I dare you and you acted out like a little girl? Obviously there is something sticking to your body that should have been removed at birth.
Whether it's your plot or not, you actually never planned to go through with it. For the reasons you mentioned yourself.

He promoted, could not compete, relegated, promoted again and now is tanking the season. Not really the same, as he never was a force in divI anyway. He is a team lingering between divI-divII. I am going to bookmark him anyway, as it seems to be the closest thing to that strategy.

thats the point. If you are force, why change anything? My team plan works fine for me. But it will be shame, if because of this season tanking he will be force in couple of seasons.

This is surely one of many possible options out there. It just seems so dull, but a big sacrifice could give nice revenue. No need for offensive sentences.
