Guys, we did it!!!

We achieved the biggest victory of Egypt in the World Cups ever, we won against Iran and guaranteed a spot for us in the next round. We maybe played with higher attitude than Iran, but that was the only way for us to do what we did.
We were leading since the very beginning of the game, but not every victory would be good for us. We were leading by 5-8 points throughout the match, hoping that it would eventually reach 10 points. At the end of the third quarter, we were leading by 10. However, at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Iran went 11-2 and came to -1. Our guys begun playing extremely good defense and went to 11-12 points of difference. At the end, our nerves were stronger, we were potting those free throws while defense did phenomenal job at defending the 3-point shots. Our best players were Qamar Ibn-Omar and Mahmoud Kaleel. Rahman was close to the double-double but this is very far from his best performance.
At the end, the winner is Misr which goes to the first round.
This victory is extremely important and valuable for two reasons :

Firstly, Misr has never achieved two victories in the first round of this competition.
Secondly, Misr has never passed to the Final Pool before and we should climb more on the World Rankings !

The teams which will find their spot in the Final Pool are the next ones :

Slovakia, Czech Republic, China and Canada from Group A
Poland, Spain, Hong Kong and Egypt from Group B

We will have four more encounters, against teams from the group A.
The teams pass their score against teams who passed to the final pool. Unfortunately, we pass nothing because we won against Iran and Uruguay which stay home this time.

These are the ratings for this historical match :

We are the best!

Our team plays against one of the strongest BB nations ever and surely the strongest in Asia - China, of course. China came into this stage as the third team in the group A with 3 victories and two losses. Unfortunately, they are much stronger than us and have better enthusiasm and game shapes.
We achieved much more than expected so we have no any hopes in this stage. This is why a special introduction is not needed.
I will try to experiment a bit with our tactics and also try not to lose by more than 40 points.
If anyone is interested, the game starts at 19.30 - I'll be there - as always.

We are the best!

I'm sorry I haven't written a summary of yesterday's game, but I was busy and haven't had time when the game finished.
Our team lost by 35 points against China in one, not very important match. China is absolutely one of the strongest BB teams, they had lots of factors favoring their roster. I used this game to experiment a bit so I played Patient for the first time in my term. I tried to take advantage of Hana Habib Al-Rasheed's good game shape and skills so I wanted to make him my first attacking option. He played one extremely good game, with 55 points overall. This is maybe the best offensive performance of one player at the WC so far. Now I think we all have clear picture what he is capable of.
Patient usually doesn't provide good ratings, so this was also the case yesterday :

Our next rival will be Canada, please keep maintaining game shape of your players at the satisfying level (8+).

We are the best!

Our team plays one more important game of the WC campaign today, this time against Canada. The good result in this match won't be decisive in any case, but it might show what is this team capable of. One more possible benefit of winning this game is possible 7th place at the end (a victory doesn't secure it).
I will sayl something about our rivals :

Canada is one of the strongest BB NTs in American confederation, which has two continental semifinalist titles. They were usually over performed by the USA, Brazil or Argentina...
The last two seasons, including this, are the best in Canadian history. Canada qualified to the WC through repechage in a solid group with Italy, Japan and Nigeria. They passed to this stage of the WC through the group A with Slovakia, Czech Republic, China, USA and Ghana in it. Their two victories were enough for them to achieve historical success.
They have very quality group of players, with lot of potential and chance to progress further in the future. They are one of the favorites to win some of the next continental championships.
Our scouts watched all of their games, scouted their players so we could say that we have analyzed them pretty much.
Our guys performed physio training yesterday morning and watched Canadian games today.
We met the team's captain, Jibril Abu-Mansour, in the hotel. He thinks that the team has enough potential to beat Canada:

"Canada is strong team, with good manager. They haven't come so far for no reason. Luckily for us, we did exactly the same as they did, so we have our hopes of winning the match. All of our players are fit, with excellent game shapes and we are dying to hear the names of guys who will play the game. Our manager showed us some hints, which might be useful during the game."

Jibril was pretty optimistic, but he pays respect to the opponents.
Victory may bring us some more happiness, but we don't lose anything by losing the game.
Join me on chat at 19.30, I assume that there will be some Canadians, too.

We are the best!

Wow, excellent victory for our team yesterday against Canada. This team is playing an incredible season and is really such an honor to be their manager. I thought we'd have some chances so I decided to play CT because our next matches are certain losses. Luckily for us, my predictions have shown as true. Our team played excellent game, along with Canada, and claimed well deserved victory because we were leading since the very beginning.
Our best player was Hana Habib Al-Rasheed who played extremely well offensively, especially inside.
This victory is significant for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, we might finish 7th at the WC at the end, which would be amazing success.
Secondly, but more important :

Misr is currently placed at the 9th position of the world rankings!
This is one more historical success for Misr and something I could never even imagine before.

I don't know what else to say, I am delighted.

We are the best!
