Indeed again, Joe deserves a lot of credits for his results. Now, a lower salary does not ultimately mean a lower level and a high salary does not always mean a great player. Joe's squad doesn't seem impressive on paper but must be very well balanced because he's not there by accident. He could even buy a couple of great players and very quickly rule the country again. I read he has other plans... and it's never good when Joe's got a plan!

As for the B3, thanks very much Eagle for the nice words I agree with Dartreb, winning the B3 requires a total devotion to that competition - to the cost of domestic competitions - and at least a few super players or 20 million $ to buy them and afford the huge salaries throughout the season. I have neither.
If I ever make it to the semis, you will probably witness what the difference is between a good team and a top team

It's already an achievment to be where you are with a team not devoted to B3, you can be proud of that. Only Joe has already the same kind of results in the past.

There you go, no semis for me. My opponent played much better tactically i have to say, i was not inspired.
My season is now almost over as I don't see how i will manage to win a championship without the hca after the second round.
But playoffs will be exciting for sure as Buston could now meet their pet peeve in the finals while all teams seem more competitive than last season so very interesting first rounds too! Good luck everyone ; )

I don't think you should complain about Mizu's TIE too much Joe :p

About me playing normal at my place, I think I let slipped way too many games at home and now everybody is thinking about how much of an open bar the Phalanx Arena is. Hopefully this will be corrected very soon, I want to win my home games, like all of them, and I can't say how much I'm butthurt to have conceded so many defeats.

@Q : too bad, there wasn't too big a difference between the 2 teams but I guess his correct GDP won the day for him. Anyway, that's a very nice run and you already won a trophy this season, so I don't think you can qualify this season as negative.

About playoffs, my ambition is at zero, having changed one major player and probably swapping a second one, so I don't think I'll offer a challenge.

It was more your poor GS that explains the result. By the way, did you know that all B3 games are played with full enthusiasm? Because I don't understand your TIE against Dartreb...
My quite poor GS didn't help indeed but his was hardly better.
I actually didn't know this rule had changed, Patrick told me the same thing when he saw i was playing tie vs. Dartreb. It's my fault - not searching for excuses - but it would be great to mention it somewhere in the rules (unless i didn't search well.)

That said, I believe I would have played tie with or without the B3 game. I was surprised that @Dartreb played normal as he had nothing to win. I read your comment, fair enough... I haven't won at yours for ages anyways so i usually consider that game as a loss each season I still would have lost playing normal so i don't regret my choice, Dartreb was just better.
