having Nielsen on the bench at the end of the game is very subtle coaching -- i bet the Bruins thought the best player on the team would be on the floor and were surprised when he wasn't!
sheesh.

I know a lot of people think that BuzzerBeater needs an app. I always thought the same, but now I think is the time to really start pushing for this to happen. I just downloaded a soccer game (Top Eleven) to my android, and it's basically the soccer version of BuzzerBeater, mobile version of Hattrick. Try it for yourself, and you'll really see the potential Buzzerbeater has if they made the much needed app. Top Eleven has 10m+ downloads and that's soccer, which in my opinion has less appeal than basketball. There are even other soccer manager apps, so there is competition for TE. There are no basketball managers that are good, so if BB made one I think they could really start to expand this game.

i don't know diddly about software -- what would be involved in creating a BB app? compared to, say, the creation of the Game Day Plan? on a scale of 1 to 10, if the GDP is a 1, then what would the app be?

I don't think a match viewer is that important. The main thing would be being able to do things like buy players, set lineups, change ticket prices etc on a convenient app. Keep the match viewers for computers/mobile browsers for now.
That being said I doubt it gets implemented, just like most good suggestions. Without an app though it can be very easy to lose interest in this game (and easy to not gain interest for newer users).
