But I wasn't talking about A and B in their battle for first place.
I was talking about C getting an unfair advantage over A and B although it had less wins.
The fact that a team is in first place doesn't give them an easy win on every other team in the league.
The situation you describe of a team being able to TIE all games is only feasible in a very uncompetitive series.
