But the question is... how many teams that are bot are not in position to be relegated. It doesn't help those hoping for bot promotion if all the bots are going to be relegated anyway.

You may also want to check on Bots in DI (I don't think there are any) and DII... they will absolutely cause a bot promotion.

Simply - the question is how many bots are in the very next level (in this case III) after normal relegation/promotion and after bot promotion in all other higher levels (I and II in this case). That includes promoted bots (literally) which will relegate immediately during the same season update - cases that many forget about.

I've always wondered how bot cleanup works at the higher divisions. A new user who happens to sign up at the right time can immediately take a higher division spot? If so, do they start out with the same lowly-type players as those of us starting out at the bottom division?

You can be lucky to inherit a dominant team and albeit getting generated lowly-type players you can promote - via bot claenup, via (surprisingly) winning play offs yourself*, or (and I'm not sure of this but it probably can happen) via inheriting a team that already won the title that year (few days gap to do so, relly a longshot).

Higher divisions? Depends on country, in some there are not many levels filled yet so the two lowest levels can be realtively high (up to I.1 of course).

*doable at low bot infested level, home court advantage helps, maybe even possible walkovers can help

BB-C,
Thanks for the info. I guess there's no chance of your team turning BOT for me in Div III :)
