I think you will win even if you TIE against his CT.

Thanks. I've got hca as well so if I lose then I don't deserve to win it. :)

It is not wise to have almost every one from your roster on sale if you want to win the game!

There is a reason why you can't see the skills of your oponents! That makes the strategy more difficult... and you are making it easy for your fellow!

Well judging by his roster he doesn't have a great team, so I don't think it will help him much. Plus if he looks at my team he could get scared and play TIE :P haha. He doesn't have anyone with over 10k salary, and I have 3, and his best player has played 82 minutes this week so far so probably won't play in the cup game, and I have HCA and I have higher enthusiasm, and I bought a new PR manager to boost my HCA. So if I lose I will be very disappointed.

Not too sure why you needed the advice, seems like you know what you're doing.

You should play at least normal. His team could easily beat you. Now, looking at your roster, if he pays attention, he should play look inside and 3x2 zone against you. He also knows your enthusiasm is at 8, maybe 7 tomorrow. So even with him playing normal, he could beat you. If he goes ct, then definitely beats you.

Yeah I understand what you mean, it was probably a bad idea to let people see my roster lol. Oh well.

He has played Base offence and Man to man all season, so I would be surprised if he played differently against me.
Also he has better outside scoring than inside scoring so my best defenders should stop him. I am playing man to man, so I think overall my players are better than each of their respective matchups.

You think if he goes CT I can't win at all? I have 8 enthusiasm still, playing TIE is like playing Normal with his enthusiasm level. So it would be like him playing CT vs me playing Normal at the same enthusiasm level.

Also, just thinking from his point of view, it would probably be a very very bad idea to play CT, he only has 5 enthusiasm and he will have to probably sacrifice at least a weeks worth of league games to get back up to normal.

Anyway my game is in 7 hours, at this point I think I am just going to play TIE and see how things go. If I lose then I guess I'll just have more time to concentrate on dominating my league. And if I win then I know I have given myself the best chance to beat whoever I play next week in the cup.

Honestly, it looks like your opponent isn't paying a lot of attention right now. So I agree that I'd expect him to play base offense/man defense and normal. In this situation I think you are a heavy favorite to win even playing TIE. However, if he does maximize his roster and tactics, he has a good chance to beat you if you play TIE.
I was a little unclear before, if he goes CT and maximizes his roster and tactics, I was assuming you were going to play TIE, and then if he CT, then I think you lose. This though seems unlikely right now. If you played normal, I think you could prevent him from trapping you, and you would still likely win.
But it's always interesting to see a team's entire roster. Your opponent will have a tactical edge. But in this case, I doubt that he is paying attention.
Good luck. I think you'll win playing TIE unless he pulls a Phil Jackson!
One more thing, even though he has better outside players, if I was him, I'd still attack your relative weakness by playing Look Inside/Low Post and 3x2.
