As we all know, merchandise income is related both to origin and stats of one's team's players. I had a quick look at your team and league and noticed that you have no relevant US or even self-drafted player in your roster. The other teams of your league seem to be a bit ahead of you in that regard.

I am not quarreling with that, but those same factors should ALSO result in those players getting elected to the all star game. If fans are really more interested in rooting for home grown/US/national team players (all of which I have fewer than the other teams in my league) then they should ALSO vote for those players in the all star game.

Essentially, under the current popularity system, I am arguing that makes no sense that my players got voted into the all star game.

Alright, seems that our opinions differ not that much, maybe I misunderstood your concern a little. Would you agree that a possible solution attempt should represent a middle course between allstar election and merchandise income calculation?

edit: lovin' those one-ball-voters...

Merchandise seems to be influenced by the salary of the star player too i.e. NT center will bring more money than NT guard because of his salarry expenses. Not sure how that formula works but obviously there tends to be a pattern about it.
