Wouldn't the server crash during the draft with so many people on?

You mean like - there could be interface and at 8pm would draft go on.. first round will be made and you will see what pick did you have (and what have your opponents). Now you have like 10 minutes to decide any switch in draft order for the second round..

Well I dont think that would be big disadvantage for these with setted draft order, because 1st round would be the same anyway and any aditional decisions are easy to anticipate. Big plus is that live draft would be interresting, indeed. There could be any entrance of every player like "Krejčí, will be next superstar?" and crownd applaud. Or do it like TV show, where would be moderator and will coment every pick of the player or something like that.

Oooh, I have to agree with you, no interaction once the draft has started. If it would be done the way you suggested it would add a lot of flavour to the offseason. I am all about the eye candy ;) That being said, any change to the draft has been long anticipated, and I am excited to see the planned changes in action.

1) It can be fun.

2) It does not force being on-line during draft (one can still set is draft picks prior of the draft time).

3) I'm not sure it will change any...
On which case one will change a pick he had done?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see it changing any of the order of draft picks I've already set.

drafting for your own team, isn't that was the game all about for you? In this case you would prioritize a guy who fit to your first pick, with your second pick since it is hard to train a 2.20 C with an 1.80 G.

Yes, it is a main feature of this game for me (unlike the eBay-TL, which is the only relevant feature for you).
I agree that it has some meaning, but not that much.
I guess most of the users will be happy to get as many good draft picks as they can, and prepare the list upon that.
As one has no knowledge about enough players in the draft, it has very low chance that one will have three great prospects so when he get the first he will prefer having the second and not the third.

But, again, it is not a feature that I don't like (as I've written), and hence I do not object to that.
Just don't believe it will do much good (at least the great majority of the time).
