Another good example is my shooting guard won the three point contest. He is a easily the best player in my league and in 8 minutes of all star time had 17 points.. I think that's correct either way he was on fire the minutes he played so why didn't he play more minutes? This all star game stuff is just for fun .

Yes the all star game is just for fun, but even then the teams still try to win the game. Even in the NBA you see this. How many times have you seen that a player is voted in by the fans but actually plays less minutes in the game then the league selected backup player?

At the end of the day, as long as it remains just for fun then it is fine, but once people start wanting to have financial tie ins with the all star games, then the current format and selection process of the all star game is just not acceptable as the selection process is a crapshoot.

I dont think the Atendence one is correct because I have the largest Arena in my League and no one from my team made the all star game not even tommy or Vahdet who led Canada in AVg.rebs for a while and also broke the rebs Record.

i also rremember the bb quote about the attendance, i don't know how big the impact it but it helps for sure.

And a large Arena means nothing when just 4000 people come, empty seats ain't visitors.
