Great job on the assessments and predictions. Hard to argue with any of it. I, unfortunately, dropped my first game in an attempt to start building enthusiasm. We'll see later if that pays off.

Got shredded in the opening contest. Came home before a small, homey crowd, and stunned a shell-shocked Shootas team. What the hell?

This is the 1st time I've played a DVI team. I checked it out....every team in the league is "Managed by a computerized player".

Just re-read my post and it sure sounds as though I'm awfully serious, doesn't it?

10 teams tied at 1-2 after three games. This season is going to be very interesting.

this league is a lot tougher than when you where last in it, and i think that lake charles or i will be in the finals, and as far as the stronger division goes, big 8 won by 50 pts in the all star game last season and great 8 lost a ton of great guards with flashers being gone, I would say big 8 is the stronger division and it has been moving towards that for the past couple seasons.

As far as your rundown of my team. i have a great C, and PF with a good SF. i have great secondaries in my C, Pf, and Sf.
As far as my guards go, i have geared them up for outside defense and passing, the passing needs to get better but they do not have that bad of outside d for an inside team like my own. I do not look to add any depth to my team

Maybe it's just a human nature, grass is always greener kind of thing, but I feel like the Great 8 is tougher. With the exception of Wangsters who just went bot, we've got pretty tough teams 1-7 over here. Flashers was replaced by a D.II team so that's probably a wash, and then Great 8 also lost 2 demotees and 1 bot, and replaced them with teams that are currently 1st, 3rd, and 6th. Those records might change, but I still think it's hard to say the Great 8 didn't get better over the off-season?

You guys have your share of good teams too so I guess we'll see, but I think inter-conference record matters a whole lot more than what happened in an all-star game, and when the inter-conference schedule finally end, I expect the Great 8 to finish with a better inter-conference record than the Big 8.

I would agree with you that the league has gotten a bit tougher in the last few seasons. I am not sure if you were disagreeing with my analysis of your team or not, but I agree that you have a good shot at the Finals.

I had to go normal, last season I played take it easy at home and you beat me by four. Those monsters you have on the inside are nearly unstoppable.
