Well, it isn't exactly helpful to say: policy is policy.
I understand that you're probably irritated with answering the same or similar questions all the time, but the fact is that this remains an issue that the majority of the playerbase is in the dark on. We don't know if this is a finished bit of policy (the Tough Shit policy) or if you're working on something that might be seen as having a bit more equity.
For example, GMs often adjust transfers if a player is found to be sold at way above market value, taking money away from the person who sold the player. In the event of downtime, could a similar thing not be done in reverse? If a player (like in the case mentioned above) goes for 1M below their EV due to the site being down, couldn't a GM credit that player with maybe even half the difference (so 500k in that case)?
