When I've had guys that were definitely never trained, their DMI at 9 GS remained constant, other than a 100 point reduction every two weeks that I would guess is due to a constant rate of stamina reduction (for guys in their mid 20s). I have data for this covering this season and most of last season.

If you are seeing increases, I can only believe it's due to training, where the player got some of the appropriate minutes.

Just to make sure, strong GS can be anything between 8 and 8.99.., while proficient GS is always exactly 9.0 ?

DMI includes also experience, I think.

Perhaps, but I assume that experience increases with every game, and in that case you would expect to see DMI increases every week. But I have many players in 9 GS in two consecutive weeks, yet there is no change in DMI (as I said, the 100 point decrease occurs every other week).

I always attributed that 100 point drop, due to how stamina slowly deteriorates.

me too WFUnDina; one question, do you have a fitness trainer or not?

I don't have a fitness trainer, and always have wondered whether that would reduce the DMI drop.

No, I just have an Advanced Trainer, no specialty.

I have a fitness trainer, and I can assure you the drop still happens every other week.

There's a drop, though I can't say how much, as I haven't really monitored DMI for long enough to really notice (and haven't had enough of a run of 9 GS on anyone to have any real data).
