I don't think this was supposed to be to me, BUT I do know a football game that is similar but not the same. goallineblitz.com I played for a while and quit.

Broken Bat is mostly a labor of love...a hobby when the kids have gone to bed. Not sure if it will ever be what BuzzerBeater is or if I'll ever get as filthy rich from it like the BB's. :-)

Anyhow, I think Hattrick is really the original. Their model spawned a whole cottage industry of browser based sports games that have similar league structures, training models, management schemes etc.
