This should be in the speech thread not the debate thread.

@All other competitors

Have any of you posted in the offsite forum? Or even signed up? Have you done anything to contribute to Canadas U21 or NT? I mean no disrespect, but none of you have put in the effort in the past to help out Canadas national teams, so why should Canadians vote for you?

http://w11.zetaboards.com/BB_Canada/index/

I suggest you sign up and then BBmail GM-beanerz or myself so we can approve of your accounts on the offsite. Then on the offsite forum you can contribute to scouting and to tactic discussions.

True that, mod. It's kind of dumb coming out of nowhere, not even contributing to Canada but expecting votes. Like GM-Beanerz said, my vote goes to Mod-Bbalin until someone does enough to change my mind.

I noticed that there has not been much activity in this debate, so I'm going to bring up some questions I'd like all the participants to answer. Please put the same amount of time and thought answering these questions as I did creating them ;)

1. Some users are allergic to the syrup that comes from the maple leaf on your flag that comes from a maple tree. To those users, having a maple leaf on the flag is rude and offensive and can be considered a hate crime. What are your plans for potentially changing the Canadian flag, and making it something less offensive?

2. What energy drink will be the official drink of the team? Last season you guys went with Powerade which was a complete joke since it is just a complete copy of Gatorade, which was your team energy drink the season before. Like we haven't seen that one before! I advise trying something new, like these Bob Marley drinks I heard about http://www.fdin.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/Pictu.... My friend told me they made him fly, which will be good for those short guards on the team who have trouble dunking. Or perhaps you should go throwback and just drink water? I'm interested to hear your opinions on this controversial topic.

3. Lastly, how are you going to handle this whole divorce thing between Philip Collin (20813522) and Kim Kardashian? (yes while you were reading this they managed to marry, make millions of dollars, and get divorced in the matter of seconds). The media will most likely not leave Collin alone, and I am interested to hear how you think he will react to this tragic breakup after being with Kim for 10 whole seconds (a guinness book record), and what you are going to do to help him perform without distraction.

Thank you you very much, and good luck to all the candidates :D

No that's not dumb.
Dumb is calling someone dumb who's not aware of the proper procedures but just wants to help out.
DUmb is talking loudly after 1 full season in BB.
I can't see where you've actually trained a single player
You can remove my name from consideration
I was under the impression that Bballin was too busy.
If he's doing it, I don't want to.
best of luck
won't ask again

I'm also removing my name from the election.
I just wanted to bring something new to the team. I signed in the offsite forum 2-3months ago but never participated, I'm more an observer than a talker, others are way better than me when it comes to talk loud. I'm just from the patient and very technical kind that takes every input from everyone then makes (hopefully good) decisions after that.

Good luck Bballin, I hope you'll manage to make that team better, I'll keep watching in the dark

You just justified my reason of not voting for you. Hey, it might be my first season but do you really have to rub it in. Hey, I'm in III.4 now. I've seemed to improve after one season under my belt. You also seem like a guy who wouldn't perform well under pressure. It was your shot to impress me, but you know what you did, you threw it in the garbage. Good luck in your future endeavors. Let's go, Bbalin. Good day sir.

hahaha we scared away all the candidates!

I would agree that it is hard to get support if people have not heard of your name before, but it is equally part of the experienced managers' fault for not being able to promote the NT/U21 enough and "breed" the next generation of managers

I really didn't mean to do that and I apologize. I was just acting on impulse because I read Bbalin's speech and I could tell how much effort he put into it. Read his speech and everyone else's. If you didn't know any of them, who would you vote for? It would be Bbalin. Good luck in the next season. What are your plans for the Canadian NT?

Well now there's a debate!

I already said most of it to olani (who apologised to me directly) via BB-mail, but I think it would be good to say it "out loud".
First of I'm not mad or anything like it, and I didn't put my name in just for the sake of it.
Yes I'm a newcomer, I just played this game for 4 months, but during these 4 months I've been on the website A LOT, I've been there almost every night game, and I've read countless threads on the forum. But I never talked because I just never had anything to say, anything valuable to add to the debate, I just watch and learn. And when you look at my record I think I have not been that bad.
I also watched a lot of NT matches, especially U21 because I'm interested in the training aspect of the game, and what I could gather is that the U21 manager hasn't that much effect on the issue of the games, he can only be as good as his players.
I have nothing againt BBallin, to be honest I was even planning on voting for him before I realized I could put my name.
In my mind, a good U21 manager should really try to help as much as possible the managers (especially the new ones), to have them build the best possible players, by trying to tell them what they should improve. How many new managers (div3 and div4 especially) would stay in the game if they had someone to train, and a U21 manager telling them "this week you should train Pressure, it will improve this etc."?
Anyway I'm not a good talker, I just watch and listen, and there's no need to be arrogant or a jackass, after all it's just a game.

PS: I live in Quebec so English is not my first language, so please don't judge the quality of my writing ;)

Golfed 18 holes today with some fantastic friends, got hammered afterwards at a sensational pub. Now considering going after Bballin and his crown jewel...

Maybe in the morning :)
