I do definitely belief that enthusiasm makes more difference than HCA in so many cases, but in one case HCA is the major factor of winning, and I have been through two experiences that prove my statement.
S18, I ended up 4 seed ( to be honest was the season which I was seeking for the 5 seed XD ) and with hight enthusiasm and no HCA throughout the post season I was able to manage with great surprise up to the final stage, and once I was there was the HCA that took over the series, just because our team were completely evened up ( the only one won was game 2, so at my home court and with less enthusiasm, meanwhile he field on the floor his entire best line up, therefore wasn't meant to be won by me, so here once again the HCA was the determinant factor )
S19, arguably one of the worst team in the post season, which he gained the 3 seed, won the league. He beat the 2 seed then me the 1 seed, I had more enthusiasm and the HCA but I didn't win
(45821810), the major factor was that I played NPO against CTPO and at the finals he won game 1 outside
(45936540) and took care of business in game 2 in his home court
(45936541), both of them played with the same game's effort. To add more info it's a team that plays just in 5, he hasn't got bench but after me was probably the team with more enthusiasm.
So at the end I just want to highlight that HCA yes is a good thing to have but isn't nearly as important as an
HIGHT enthusiasm can be ( of course game shape as well), and the effort that you choose to put on in the game NPO vs CTPO could be fatal, even though you have a better team and I discover this at my expenses.
The HCA has a huge impact if the two team are completely evened up,under the aspect of roster, enthusiasm and game shape the game's effort strangely didn't turn out determinant as expected, and my finals of S18 as mentioned before were decided by this: Game1
