I do not agree with you....it is important for me.

I am waiting for a BB-Charles response.

You may be waiting awhile, unfortunately - the BBs try to deal with issues on the forums as time permits, but time doesn't permit very often.

Furthermore, oueftete is correct - it was a match viewer problem that incorrectly displated a shot as a three-pointer when it was a two-pointer in reality.

Then the match viewer is a useless tool, because I can think that I am winning a match but until I see it in box-score i cannot assure it.

Well, it looks like the viewer broke in this way a very small amount of times (<5 ?) over thousands and thousands of games. By the same logic:

- cars are useless tools for travelling long distances
- light bulbs are useless tools for illuminating rooms
- Microsoft Windows is a useless operating system for computers

Wait, don't think about that last one.

Right, because it's useless for the 100,000+ games a week that it displays correctly, instead of the minute number that are incorrect.

Choose your words more carefully.

I'll agree it's not 100%, but it's 99.8% or so.

It's definitely something where the game engine and the match viewer disagree; the shot at 47:24 into the game is called by the match viewer a three from the corner but by the game engine some sort of two-point shot.
I'm going to look into this in more detail in the next day or so and figure out what went wrong.

Let´s go back to the beginning of the post. As we don´t know how does it work the conection between game engine and viewer, I don´t think we can be sure that it is just a presentational effect. So let's wait for the answer of someone who knows and stop the discussion. I´m sure that any of us would be very angry if this is happening to us.
Peace! ;-)

When the chief designer of the game says that it is indeed a presentational effect, then we most certainly can be sure of the effect.

Declaring that you want to wait for an answer of someone who knows, especially after someone who knows already answered, wont change the outcome.

we aren't completely sure what is going on.. clearly from the GE perspective it incremented the number of points by 2... but somehow a 3 point signal was outputed. Obviously this is an EXTREMELY RARE bug.. so its source isn't as simple as there is some place in the code where a 2 pointer accidently outputs a 3 point signal at least explicitly. More likely there is some buffer overrun issue which caused some information to be changed in such a way as it appears to be a 3 point shot when in fact it was a 2 pointer.

This is why you go to one of the finest universities in the nation and I dropped out of a community college after 6 weeks.
