But the thing is when you're doing two position training why not take full advantage of it and get up to 6 of your players the full 48? Also, let's say there's a team out there who is trying to be competitive AND train at the same time, you need that extra third game just for your trainees because if you use them in a game where you know you need to be serious to compete you'll get killed by your opponent. That's not the case for me since I don't even mind getting relegated, but for someone who that does apply to your method simply does not work, sorry.

But if a user can train 2-3 players while remaining competitive, then more power to them.

Haha yeah but now we're talking about ifs and buts and on top of that kind of getting off topic. I'm just saying it would be much simpler if players would get the normal amounts of minutes in a walkover just like any other game. According to the line up you set up of course, just like GM-Manon said.

Again with the ifs. I feel like you and Big_Dogs are missing the point. I don't want to discuss the amount of permutations to get around this hiccup. I already know there are different ways to get around this problem, but why not just tackle the problem head on and fix the walkover games.

Your main reason doesn't make sense. It's not like whoever initiates the walkover gets the 48 minutes. The opponent does. So you can't just say 'oh I'm going to not set up my lineup so I get 48 minutes'. It hinders your team while potentially helping the other team. Potentially being a key word. As GM-Manon pointed out you still can get injured. And it's obviously not just my view since it's been repeatedly discussed in the suggestions forums. You're right on one thing though, they will never change it. They are way too reluctant to make changes in general, hardly any non-minuscule changes have been made since season 6 so..

Anyway I'm still sticking by what I believe, and that is it's not fair for you to suffer just because the other manager doesn't play this game anymore or was just too lazy to set up a lineup. Being active in this game should be rewarded, not the opposite which is now the case.

How about the punishment for a team in this league
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/130/overview.aspx
The first place team not only lost training with the walkover, but it was the only one
so the last place team lost by an average score of 100 points to all the other teams
and the walkover is now 50, so the first place team will be -50 in PD to very other team in his division

Fair point. That could eliminate even more problems.

Although on a side note I don't believe it's giving "FREE" 48 minutes when you set your lineup accordingly. But anyway, I don't want to sound like I'm arguing just for the sake of arguing, so let's agree to disagree.
