Well you can work it out if your economy page shows the salary floor. For Div 4 salary floor is 80% of TV Contract so its just salary floor divided by 0.8..

Once again for the 3rd time in the last 4 season its koop v yarra rd 1. So its starting to become a little bit of a tradition.

And I've won all of them. Third time lucky for you perhaps?

First time my team will be competitive in rd 1 v your mob, so should be good.

Having a look at first 2 league games plus cup, looks like chelsea have it tough. They play hsd, me, and doncaster in the cup. Very tough week for the seagulls which doesnt normally happen this early on. Ky smiley is a great player, but depth will purhaps hurt. Hate to be in yodas shoes this week.

All tied up and my stupid player misses a shot with 1 second to go. You rebound and somehow my other stupid player manages to foul you so you hit a free throw to win the game. I hate this stupid game.

No obvious tankers in the Big 8.

Might be one of the toughest most interesting seasons in the ABBL for ages.

Any sign of tankers in the wrongly called, "Great 8"?


Anyone able to get a snapshot of the salaries of each of the teams?

......and I would estimate that running a streamlined staff an no scouting, good merch, a div II team could run a $480k-ish roster before paying tax. (assume no training exemption)

Noted that the 3 bottom salaried teams are all in the Great 8.

Also noted that the Goldfish appear to be in a tank (mode)

Question for the more experienced ABBLers than myself, how do this
seasons salaries compare to the start of other seasons?

Think I just paid 600K in overs, just so that I could get a little bit higher up that ladder.

5 of the 8 highest salaried teams, are now in the Big 8

Very interesting Mundy. A slight correction for Sid, the Great 8 is just an extreme conference. Bottom three salaries. If Goldfish are indeed the only true tanker this season it certainly gives Pancakes and HAX the chance to take the season easy and just prepare for the relegation series. That is gold. But then the other five teams are all in the top eight salaries in the league. Once again Koop and his million dollar team are leading the way but as usual there are Urmummas and Seagulls fighting the good fight. We also have HSDO looking strong as is the new revitalised YPB team. Koop is the favourite again but hard to predict who will emerge from the Great 8 this season. Also nice to see Aussie getting some competition in the Big 8, no-one else has looked really threatening there since the Immortals seaons ago.
