Despite doing everything perfect it's possible to have players not get 48 minutes because of blowouts. I got 2 of them who don't get 48 minutes with some regularity. I don't have that problem with other trainees.

I didn't say there weren't junk time matches, I said there probably wouldn't be many junk time matches that coincide with you setting your line up in that way. Even with setting up the lineup "properly" I find I still get this if I blow out the game

My trainees get subbed out more times than not, unfortunately. It's probably because most games are blowouts and they have bad stamina..

When I was training single position training I would suit up 7 players. (2 players act as backups for 2 positions each)

Stamina more so than blow outs, was the biggest issue preventing one of the trainees getting their 48 minutes.

If he had below high inept, then on occassions he would only get 47 or 46 mins, despite me having him listed in all slots

Had the same problems (it went on nearly the whole season), and only stopped when I decided to just train abit more Stamina for some weeks, and after that he's regularly clocking 48 minutes in SFDC lineups even in 100+ point blowouts

Sounds like we both learned the hard way.

With my Utopian team I gave them a couple of weeks stamina training first off to get my trainees up above high Inept, as I know from experience that its just too frustrating to try and train single position if you have a trainee with low stamina

OK this is BS, my starter is going to get 36 minutes today. I played 10 guys, a starter and back up in every position except the one i'm training where i listed the same starter back up and third string. I also listed the 10th player as third string in the 4 non training positions, just to help with minutes as this is my easiest game this week. This is a joke and is ruining the game. I know there has been some talk about training out of position and this could be part of the issue as i switched training this season so i have 2 guards training at center, but the guy today is the one center and the guy he got sub for is a back up SG. Like either they need to fix this or training needs to not be linked to minutes played. If they are going to link my training to the number of minutes a player gets in the game, I should be able to control how much a player plays in the game. I'm the GM and I run the team, how does my coach just need whatever he wants and still have a job. Sorry for the rant but this is just getting out of hand

The game is what it is.

My self and others have told you how to get your trainees to each play 48 mins, hell I was competitive in Div II in Australia 5 6 or so seasons ago whilst playing only 7 players per game so as to ensure that my 18 & 19 year old trainees could get 48 minutes whilst training single position.

If your playing players out of position for training purposes you need to swap that players defensive role with another player

This is a joke and is ruining the game

With respect you are the joke.

You got experienced managers from this game to give up their time to post advise on how to train players properly in single position, but you havent heeded our advice and instead keep on whinging
