I got the 1/511 chance of drawing the exact same team in my league that I am playing this week. Both games happen to be on my home court too!

The Bot-of-Season-28 award goes to the Marion Giants (29987) of V.118

They have not only gone undefeated in their league thus far, but have also made it to the 6th Round (of 256) of the National Tournament by drawing and defeating 5 other bots along the way and accomplishing a feat never before matched by a USA bot team*.

* In Season 11, Lakesiders made it to the round of 256, however that was only the 5th round of the cup. And Atwater Heat, who competed as a bot in the S25 6th Round of 256, went bot the monday before the 6th round game.

Perhaps it's time to begin the cup with a wild card round where the top ranked teams get a bye and $50k in week 1 while the remaining human-managed teams compete for the remaining spots.

Example: There are currently 1746 active teams in the USA. Round 1 would include the bottom 1444 teams [i.e. (active teams - 1024)*2] and the teams ranked 1-302 would get a bye and their $50k. That would ensure that nobody gets a bot.

As it is, the cup starts with the round of 8192. That means almost 80% of the initial teams are bots. If that's not acceptable, at least go back to the old format where there was one less round. That way a little under 60% are bot. And if there were 2 less rounds, there would only be 15% bots. And while we're at it, can we get rid of the pointless D.VI?
