You might be right, who knows.. If the skills aren't so random after all, it may be a good strategy. I remember someone saying that tall players listed as Cs or PFs usually have horrible secondary skills.

BTW, there is only 1 MVP player on your country's NT. Everyone is HOF and above.

It depends on how many skill points you have before the draft. Without knowing I cannot give the best advice.

@ Aleksandar, you realize you spend 640k per season on draftees who you can get for cheaper on the transfer list right? Or are really wanting that homegrown player? Please be careful to give such advice to people asking, because it's a very bad one financially speaking. It's understandable if you're training to make a home-grown team, but if that's not the goal of the person asking it's not proper advice. No offense intended.

40.000 per week, plus 14 weeks: 560.000

if u get a potencial 9 or 10, 18 years old this prize, let me know ;)

That's if you'd get one of those every season, which you don't :) So if you get one every 2 seasons, it's already twice that price.

MVP can work for a SF, but everything else you pretty much need HOF or ATG. Of course for countries not in the top tier lower potential could work, but Serbia has a pretty good team and you were talking about homegrown players.

My point was not that investing 40k weekly is bad in all cases, I just warned that it's not good advice for every situation. Yes, if you really must have the highest potential highly skilled homegrown player, then it might be a good way to go, but the question was asked by a starting manager, and that might not be his goal. I was saying his money at that point is better spent elsewhere, like in the Arena while keeping scouting costs lower and not try for the jackpot every season.

The problem with many helpers here is that they give advice for their own situation, we need to take into account the situation of the question asker more often.
