Who forgot to wake up the BBs?

This is one of those occasions when the BB vow of silence is not a good thing.

Apparently the delayed financial update added my today freshly signed players wage into the calculations, evidently resulting into a loss of money. The casual repercussions that wont be reversed , as is tradition.

I would say that should be corrected. I agree it probably won't be, but this isn't right.

Glib responses or none at all from staff are the usual response, and very poor stuff indeed. Shame.

I hired a trainer with a salary of 20K and a youth trainer with a salary of 20K. They were hired on October 29. The financial update was supposed to be updated way before I hired them. Yet, I was charged for the staff salaries in the updated finances. (Not the signing bonus) They shouldn't have counted on the late financial update. Can I have my measly 40K back? *sniff sniff*

Anybody that bought players or staff today after what should have been the update
and before the actual last one gets charged where they should not have

The first economy update of the season is always problematic and rarely runs on time. We had to make sure everything runs in the correct order so we couldn't speed it up so it ran extremely late this season (due to other updates running late). This is an unfortunate delay that we'll try to prevent in the future.

As for the player and staff salaries, they will stay as it is. I don't see any sellers complaining for not paying for the salaries of the players they sold, so we'd have to add the salary expenses to them which would probably push some of them in the red and there would be a whole now set of complaints.

Also, recalculating the economy update expenses for all teams would be extremely complicated and we'd have to do it every time the update is late, which is technically not feasible for us. This may change in the future though.

So, sadly, the salaries stay.
