Iso like the box defenses run in polar opposite to how they are worded. One of these days I am going to try it out with that mindset and see if it works.

I think LI is great if you have players with HA and DR. But LP is best for those who truly have back to the basket bigs. But I do not find either style watchable. Plus outside shooting gets so nerfed as to lose all effectiveness.

Of the outside tactics motion is most effective, run and gun though has a insane upside if your super heavy on outside shooters.

Princeton just requires too much PA to work effectively for almost any team, you have to be like clogs and build your whole team heavy in that ability to have a shot with it.

Push is my personal favorite, just good old fashioned 94' basketball. That and base are also the best options if you don't have a dominant offensive player but have a number of options both inside and outside who can be viable in the right matchup.

Patient is the most intriguing because there are more ways to implement it than any other offense. Especially if you have a guy at the 4 with both a high and inside and outside shot.

You got thumped on the boards and your guards going 7-34 did not help matters.

I feel like I’m one of the only ones who seems to like Inside Iso. Tbh, I tend to lean more toward neutral range tactics, it seems; I might try LI in my last game just to see what happens, but even training guards, the neutral approach has been more my thing. Maybe due to lower passing?

To all those that rank Princeton high up, I'd be very grateful if you could help me understand how it works and how to get the most out of it

Excellent passing among PG/SG, your SF and PF need good passing too, around 10-12 preferably.
Good junpshot but also decent range, your PF will shoot more 3’s (at least for me. SG and SF still shoot way more), your C will shoot the odd 3 too.
Basically good passing and range is a good start. driving and dribbling are also important, also ont forget JS.
