Yes but then job of national manager will be so easy to find good players...

Hello, I'm the Dominican Republic NT manager, and for me is easy because is a new league, and just a few active members, but to team as USA, and others country 100+ users, is very dificult to look for the right players, so, i'm agree to the search tool, as a page with the HT, http://www.alltid.org

First of all, if there was a search for NT coaches it doesn't have to include player skills, and really shouldn't cause NT managers shouldn't have that much access to information.

I would suggest creating a search tool for NT managers to look for their nationality and could be filtered by best position, salary, and DMI (public information basically). They still have to work with the managers of those players to get further info on them, see if they will still be getting trained, and continue to scout that player.

This isn't a full time job for anyone, so expecting any country to be able to check every team in BB, which is growing exponentially, is a bit unrealistic. Some good players will inevitably get left behind if they just happen to be managed by people that don't follow NT's.

right now is easy just to find the best players, because the teams don't sell the best players, but considering in probably ten seasons, that normaly if a team need money and take the best player in the draft, it can be sold, and is dificult to follow that...

Maybe you can organize a bunch of helpers to go through the teams in their league, looking for high DMI players, and perhaps posting a message to league conferences asking for help.

Is it possible to pin a note in the Dutch conference for posting of possible players?

Only for staff, but I'm open to requests. Asking a GM or BB to pin a NT requirements thread from the national trainer should suffice.

We're nice like that :-)

I'd like to make a couple quick comments about this debate:

1) If we're going to have a searching option, it can only include public data, as has been suggested (Salary, DMI, Best position, etc.)

2) It needs to be the case that National Team managers can better their team the more they search for good players, so a one-time search will not suffice.

3) A few good ways to start:
a) Post a thread in the national forum asking other teams to suggest players;
b) Have some friends in your country help you scout players;

4) You don't necessarily need to go player-by-player through your country. First of all, within the next season or so, it will soon become very clear that only top division teams can afford the top-salaried players, so you can start by looking there. Also, in the short term, why not take a look at the current leaders boards in a few different leagues (i.e. top scorer, rebounder, assists), or, for where data from last season exists, check out the MVP for a league and the all-star team. See? We've done some of the work for you :-)

Hope this helps! Keep up the good debate!

Nationality is a public data too. So I still don't understand why you shouldn't include that in the search options.

I know that this is a bit off-topic, Mark, but doesn't this say that there is a bit of a problem with the amount of money teams make in BB? It seems like a problem if a team stuck in division III or IV for a few seasons has the ability to train a player to NT levels, but not afford to keep him...

If I am reading too much into this, feel free to point that out.
