Well you can't control how much they increase each week. I can't remember off the top of my head but it is something like 2-3% each week.

You can control how much you pay by bidding on a certain salary range and also limiting how much your bid price is. Not sure if this is even an option for you if you are in the hole but I think you can fire them for free maybe?

I don't have any good answers for you in terms of getting out of the hole you are in. However, a large part of the reason you are in the hole is that in your 6 "years" of playing... you expanded your arena by 35 seats.

In a way, I am amazed you stayed as competitive as you did in Division III since you had no real economic base. You probably did better selling seats in DIII even at high prices because you had such a small arena.

Unfortunately, suggesting you expand your arena while you are 600K down does nothing for you... you can't spend the money to expand because that just puts you further behnd.

Not to mention 25 of those seats cost you $400,000, which, at $500 per, you will repay your investment in 32 games. Assuming you sell out each game. I think a more reasonable guess would be 15 seats per game which would mean it would take you 53 games to repay. If you play 13 home games a season that is 4 seasons.

This is sort of turning into point out stack's faults but really it is a good exploration into how to manage an economy so don't take offense to this.

Lol..man i am really dug myself a new one didn't I.

So what is a reasonable stadium size that I should be at by now for the division I am in?

I guess I saw I never sold out my arena (because of prices) that I didn't expand the arena.

I play in all these other sims and I do so well but this one has had me baffled and i was able to survive for a while. But it looks like it is biting me in the ass.

I put one of my better players on the transfer list to hopefully recoup some of my losses and go from there.

I actually would be interested in hearing some of the more experienced voices in terms of arena size. But, I would say (especially given the time you have played the game) that an arena size of 6500-7000 would be standard. Considering your time in DIII, it probably should be even larger.

But every team is different. I personally have been building out my arena quickly while I am at a level where I don't have major transaction costs (i.e., I don't have to have big salaried coaches and I don't have to buy expensive Transfer List Players).

Basically the size depends on ticket price so its tough to say X is the right size.

That said, the only way to make money consistently long term is through arena expansion and winning games so if you make baby steps every week it will pay off long term.

Check out what other teams are charging in your division and what kind of attendance they are getting and try to figure out an optimal price from that to almost fill your arena. (if you are sold out you are probably charging too little)

Yeah In all the other Sim Games I am really good at expanding and budegeting. This one I didn't pay full attention too and didn't take the time to learn the ticketing and pricing part which really hurt me.
