More often then not it is when you buy and sell a player that will determine the price more then the player itself. There are times on the transfer list when a player will be more in demand then othesr therefore you will get more for the player. You will often notice the BB's will flood the market with "retired" players which always lowers the value of your player you are trying to sell. In other words pick the right time to sell and you will always make better money. The same goes for when you buy.

so when do you think is a good time or how to look at the trends?

Always check prior to posting to see if they have flooded the market with retired players. It is also better to post your player and time the posting so that he will be up when people will be on BB anyways i.e. watching a game etc. Most people are looking for that player to get them over the "hump" after the allstar break and in time to get a player off transfer and still have him play in the playoffs. There is no magic solution it is kind of like the stock market in the sense that you never know what is going to happen. I have lost money on players and I have made money it just depends.

putting players on auction on wednseday around 12-2pm EST is always best. Only the poupon of B3 plays wednesday and no one is around, the auctions ends saturday when everyone is on making the market more active then with the small number online on wednesday.

The key is always to look at the situation from 72 hours period apart or 3 days. best time to buy is when the difference between the current number of users with the number of users 72 hours prior to that period of time is greatest. Fridays can be great time to look for players cheap where tuesdays game are on. Sundays early in seasons also good where thursday cup games go on and thou scrimmage not special it draws more online than no games. I find midnights on weekdays to be good times also to find players.

Fella is correct that player worth can cary depending what is on demand in the market, there are times when they can be worth more than other times but this is too hard to predict to really put investment into. Regardless of period of time you always strategize based on timing of the weekday to make the sell/buy i mentioned above and getting players at great bargain will always result in more sell money regardless of period of time.

Being stuck in a D 3.5 league sucks big time.

Absolutely nothing to gain. The competition level and salaries of this league makes every playoff game rival a DIII relegation league.

D4 doesn't promote growth at all, the audience sucks, attendance is way down, and I still need to actually make more money because I'm like 3rd on highest payrolls in the league.

Too long, didn't read version - I make no money and can't make my team better so yeah...I'm stuck pretty much...Woo!

My best bet was to make money during the USA Tournament but the BB Gods decided they wanted to put me against a bunch of high level D3's in the first few rounds.

Hey did you guys know you can mouse over the x's and o's on the game viewer and it will tell you which player took that shot for that x/o? Is this a new thing or did I just never notice?

You've never noticed. It's been there as long as I've been playing.

Phakeouts at NP

Big John Davis poured in 35 points for the Phakeouts but a subpar effort from the rest of his team and the guard tandem of Beckman and Gallano were just too much for the Phakeouts to overcome. Bottom line in this one........to many scorers for NP and Phakeouts couldn't keep up. NP 99 Phakeouts 72

Allstars at Crank Dat

Who dat Soulja boy.....Dat be a team winning again. Crank dat had newly acquired guard Junde drop 27 on the Allstars but it was the assistance of his big men on the boards that really aided in the blowout. Allstars were outrebounded by 33 and even with Lemon draining 26 the extra rebounds put Crank dat up big. A bright spot in the game for the Allstars were the 14 steals and on the flip side may be a concern to the Soulja Boys. Crank dat 100 Allstars 70

Bobcats at Michigan

Overtme here boyz...........and HELLO PESZENI! Bobcats went all out at Michigan's home court and what a show......for 4 quarters. Unfortunately the Bobcats forgot to come out in the Overtime and Michigan ran away with it. Peszeni you should know how to spell his name by now he dropped 51 that is not a typo guys 51 on the Blasters. There was one problem nobody else scored for the Bobcats. He has done it by himself the whole season and it appears as good as he is the Bobcats will not win without some more help. Ichaso for the Blasters had a good night with 27 and in the OT Blasters went up fast. Blasters 103 Bobcats 89

Challengers at Prov City

Scalek provides the power for the challengers again dumping 30 on the Prov City boys......but wait nobody messes with Carmona and company. Prov City put 5 in double digits and the bottom line although simplistic they just made more baskets. A huge 1st and 3rd quarter helped Prov City by the Challengers. Prov City 101 Challengers 81

VD's at Tachenko

Tachenko is like that pesky little brother that won't leave you alone......it is irritating when little brother wins and Tachenko has done that lately. Beast of the night was Martinez for Tachenko who put in 30 pts and 24 rebounds to pace Tachenko's big men. VD's came out firing but it appeared they did not bring all their firepower. Too much inside scoring put Tachenko on top at the end. On an interesting note Mayagoita and Martinez seem to have a rift as they continue to argue and fight over rebounds in the games. Mayagoita will never forgive Martinez for holding him to only 9 rebounds tonight. Tachenko 100 VDs 80

Crazy's at Phantoms

Maybe the game of the night and upset of the season so far. But wait a minute we all know Phantoms are saving some gas for their cup game. Both teams went with Bench players for the most part and a deeper bench helped the Crazy's pull out a close one at Phantoms gym. The game ended on a sweet alleyoop dunk at the buzzer to the dismay of the Phantom fans. A bright spot for the Crazy's was Paul Estinar who drained 28 pts and had 25 rebounds. With 27 personal fouls the Crazy's were very lucky to get out of the Phantoms house with a win. Backhouse who made the final shot just shook his head and said "we will take it, we will take it" Crazy's 79 Phantoms 77
