Stonestars not taking part in the play-offs requires the (simultaneous) following conditions :

- you win at Joe's
- I win against them
- Phoenix doesn't w.o. + doesn't win at Mizu's.

That makes a lot. Of course, Stone could hope for a home game in the play-offs, but a Mizu defeat is extremely unlikely unless sum starts recruiting new players.

So that's it basically : if sum doesn't start recruiting Stone is in the play-offs for sure (with an away game), while a win of mine should be enough to get past sum. => Stone TIE and CT from me of course.

As for myself, I cannot allow to risk losing my 6th rank to FTA in case of win @ Angels, and although I'm confident Revo will go in for the win, I must expect the worse.

So I'll be normalling or CTing on satueday, I'm not totally sure yet, I will have to wait for tomorrow's form updates. I must be aware that a win wouldn't mean escaping the 6th rank, so that's why normal is still an option.

My position is much more straitforward than yours : you can CT Joe, but if you don't succeed you'll end up in the play-downs with a crappy TS. But will a normal vs TIE (Joe will TIE certainly) at Joe's be enough for a win ?

Geez, someone has some great confidence in my skills and my squad. I'm kinda offended :P

on another note: since when are we bashing Stonestars and what has he done to deserve that? Stonestars has had a hard season by all accounts and could have easely had the #1 spot had he not lost a couple of games to some buzzerbeaters. So by all means, Stonestars deserves to be in the PO's.

As for Sum, i'll say this: Sum is going down if he play's the play-downs. It's as simple as that. New rules state that buying a new player means his GS is brought back to 7 for a while, to avoid teams boosting up their teams just for a PO run. (or for a couple of games). Hence, Sum has to CT Mizu if he has any hopes of avoiding play-downs and he has to win.

So my advise is: if you aren't sure that their isn't the slightest possibility of you not ending on the 6th spot, then save your enthusiasm. You'll need it. Championships (or avoiding regulation) are won by those who manage their teams, TS and economy in the best way. Fact is i did a good job, but not as good as the others in my division. You could rumor that some championship are won thru boldness or thru an opponent failing to seize his chance, but right now, everyone should be focussed on their own team, and make the decision based upon what is best for their team and not on how to keep another team from participating in the PO's

I am certainly not bashing Stone ! On the contrary, I'm quite confident he'll hit the play-offs ! I cannot get ahead of him unless I win by a 38 points margin (lol), Canin could indeed get past him, but actually there's no way the Suns can get ahead. Being third, and with only one team able to get past him he's as sure as hell to end at least 4th, which is a play-off spot.

On the other hand, I doubt his ability to get a better ranking and have a home game. I don't see Mizu not winning tomorrow. So TIE at mine seems mandatory, of course I can make a mistake or overlook something.

As for yourself, I don't doubt you'll do your best against FTA, but injuries, or early foul dismissal can greatly impact games.

However, point taken, and if I indeed can't avoid the 6th rank I will most probably save TS.

Is the GS nerf when buying a player already active ?

what am i missing. KV won't play the PO's, yet loaded up on 2x 200k+ salary players? he won't be able to sell them before sunday, so i'm kinda at a loss whats going on here...

i just don't understand his loading up. Bavi will have a hard time getting the win at mumu. so i reckoned KV was safe. anyhow, this could be interesting.

What you have missed is that KV will play the Play DOWN.... So without these two players he would have been relegated.... Because Bavi wont have any difficulties to win at mumu i think... Good move from KV even if its really not fair from the teams of our division has he has earned money due to the weakness of the other division where a 500K salary is enough to finish 6th will it take us a lot more to reached that ranking.

Should be clear: i have bought them for the PD's.
Bavi should win easily this evening, that's not the case for me.

In the beginning of the season i clearly stated i planned to leave the Bbbl.
With a total salary of between 400k & 500k i still managed to win a few games and to my surprise i'm able to stay in the Bbbl.
I managed to make a lot of money. So why not invest a little of that money so i can have another season like that? :-)
I realise that i'm Lucky to be in my conference and not the other, but thats not really my fault is it.

Nobody is speaking of fault here, just luck which is something which comes and goes along a BB carrieer... Two or three season ago, your division was hell, this year its ours...

Keeps it exciting... Already curious for next season, but first this season: final games (pd's included) will be hard

I'm not so sure mumu is going to lose tonight, I'm with Revo in this one.

But ok, I understand you won't take any chances. That will be harsh on whoever finishes 7th in our division. In the end, all 2 relegated teams could be from our side, which is sad after all the efforts those teams have done.

But life is life. This would be an horribly unbalanced outcome of an horribly unbalanced season.

As for myself, sum has been recruiting low-level players and won't w.o. tonight. That's hard stuff for me, but I still have a couple of hours to think about it.
