You do have the flexibility of playing your back-ups as starters v my team and still keep top spot overall. Then you can really test your team out on Thursday and see where your team is at. This also should help out with form instead of giving up training to train GS. Don't forget, only one league match next week, with a possible 2 cup games. Those 3 matches also helps out with training. IF you don't give it a go, you'll never know. Just saying.

Will the team that you line up be the same team that very impressively beat Aussie on his home court?

No idea which way I will be going about things with my line-up right now. I'm very competitive, but also have to think about whats best for my teams future. At this stage, I can not beat your team, or Aussie at their best. So even though you may think my win was impressive, it's not impressive enough when you break it down.

Personally, I also have to think about minutes and all that. However, I'm not in the same position as you are so I'd think a little differently when it comes to my team compared to yours.

When it comes to your team, I believe in 2 options.

A. Just go for league and keep focused on training; Knowing that you will have a very good team next season, and I'm guessing cash to splash, cup plus league is a reality next season.

B. With the lead you have in the league, a mini sacrifice in league wont be so harmful. The cup can bring in extra cash, making you an even bigger force financially next season. However, if you don't beat BLS, with your current league success, it wont be so bad. If you do win, more money and a chance to win the title is tempting.

Personally, with your team where its at, I'd try and beat BLS then see what comes next. I'd not worry if it doesn't work out cause it would just turn my focus on what I'd need to do in league. This would be scarier for the others if you've like the taste of potential success this season, and therefor decide to go for it.

Either way, it's a chance to play BBB next season and gain even more experience.

I feel a little conflicted. Out of boredom I put my long time starting SF on the market at overs for his age and some dude has brought him. I had even forgot I put on the market.

The surviving ABBL teams manage to avoid each other in the next round of the Cup.

Yes and there are quite a few player movements at the moment with Bears, Dropouts and Fish all being quite active in the last few days

With ASW officially beginning, will be interesting to see which players have made it, and which have not. Will the Big 8 dominate, or will the Great 8, be absolutely great?

Thoughts?
