I don't really muck around on the market much & I haven't bought a player for 4 months but it is a real bugger when the bloke you want is up at 3 in the morning.

Depends how important it is to you to save every single cent. To me I'm always willing to overbid for players that I want by an extra 25% on top of their maximum market value. Sometimes you need to do this to find the perfect piece you want. So far it has served me well. ;)

I think everyone knows a couple of times I have spent every cent to get players that I want. If they are cost effective players of a reasonable age they really pay you back many times over.

very close game but it makes me wonder

if i can win pl games vs him (& be within a couple of minutes of beating whitebeard) how come he is 5-1 & i am 1-5? i must be a crappy manager lol :P
