Well played to rimmers though, superior tactics beating the more highly paid players.

I like the humility.

Whoa...

Massive results.. Probably won't have enough enth to get past you though and if he does won't carry him through a 3 game GF but well played Rimmers, only 3rd loss this season coming at the most inopportune time, unlucky TL..

Strewth didn't see that coming. Home Axis can start clearing room in the trophy cabined they are home & hosed now.

Bloody bastard Rudolph Foster never got in decent game shape & rooted me. He can't shoot can't rebound can't defend can't win me any games evan at $200 grand a week. I'm selling him for $1 & if he doesnt sell I'm firing him. Dickhead.

Hi everyone

just a heads up that im doing some statistical analysis of draft picks for this coming draft.

I need to be able to gather the full player stats of as many of your draft picks as possible. EVEN if they are absolute scrubs, its important that i get a variety of data for my analysis.

As most people fire their picks, this makes getting the data difficult, so - the easiest way for this to happen is instead of firing ur guys straight away - list them on the transfer market for $1

That way, ill spend the 3 days post-draft gathering the data myself. Thats right - im doing the dirty work! haha.

If you are wanting to keep ur draft pick you could PM me his stats - if your reluctant to share, thats ok as well.

Obviously the more data I have, the better this works out for analysis, so please - do not fire ur scrubs . list them, then when they don't sell, you can fire to ur hearts content.

Thanks

Im basically doing a study between Box score of the draft picks vs the final stats.

I did it a few seasons ago, but with limited data, and so my results were basically flawed.

But i want to try it again.

There was a thread a few weeks back which basically had everyone suggesting that there is no relation. (255193.10)

which - at that point i agreed and there are plenty of examples where the box score is bulldust - like 53 points in the game, but only has mediocre JS.

But then - as you can see in the post - I figured that Buzzerbeater doesn't give us too many real red herrings in this game. pretty much everything means something, and there isnt another good example of complete inaccuracy - except for maybe user-dictated things like transfer prices etc. so i changed my mind and decided that the box score does have some value.

So i figured to redo my statistical analysis again with a bigger data pool and see if i can find some relation.

Forgive my stupidity... What do you mean Box Score of the draft picks?

thats ok.
When you 'scout' a draft pick, in the draft, you can see that they have height, age, position, etc and they also give a Box Score from some imaginary game that is played. A box score is given for each individual player.

If you search the forums, most people's advice is to ignore the box score given for each player in determining his quality as a player.

im proposing that there is a relationship between this box score and the player's end stats.

make a da sense?
