Yes, exactly as what Mr. Hayop said.
ang focus training is training for one position, and it's kinda like investing... yes you get to train one position lang, pero in the long run you manage to create one star player that you could use for seasons to come... assuming that you won't sell the player.
My side, naman... is to train players by segments... not just in weeks, but with longer terms... like, pagbasehan mo na lang na susunod mo na lang gagalawin ang training scheme sa all star game na, or end of the season.
It's in my own opinion, but i'm not sure if it is proven fact, but the more you focus on one training, the more na mabilis ang development... kasi kung iisipin mo naman... hindi naman pwedeng ang strong to proficient ay kasing bilis ng pagiging wondrous to marvelous... again, this is in my own opinion, but that's what's good about the game... it's still your own way of training...
at the end of the day, you can have one-three good players... who can be the core of your team... down side lang is the high salary... but because of you are training rather than buying good players, may pera ka pang expand ng arena para masalba ang ball club mo...
Hayop's strategy is good, and i could say that mine is not bad either... it's up to you pa rin kung pano mo diskarte ang training...
kung ano naman ang ite-train mo para sa specific na player... may guide naman tayo sa help thread... isa sa mga stickies dun gawa ni GM-ReDonkulous
