Catching up on a few things, part one:
For 2nd place autobid (if we could vote for a 2nd priority).

Im not against the introduction of an autobid

You guys seem to favor an autobid feature. Has anyone ever made a good case for introducing an autobid feature that would actually benefit the game? If so, I missed it. All I’ve seen are variations on “it would be easier for ME” so it must be a good idea for everyone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. An app would be the best thing for Buzzerbeater, and lots of us can agree on it. ... But making an app is hard. It's up to the Devs to hire a specialtist to make an app.

Improvements to the actual game are more important. New users put off by flaws in the game won't be users for long.

... If it is lack information than the information should be given (after 28 seasons of not discovering the mystery we can be almost sure that it wont be discovered later on - especially as there are less players in the game now) or those tactics should be fixed in order to make it playable.

Amen! I would take that even farther but on a little different tack. If information given were actually understandable it would improve everyone's enjoyment of the game. They don't need to reveal what works or how it works, but their communication needs to be clear and make sense. For example,
C/PF 60%
PG/SG/SF
SG/SF/PF 80%
C/PF/SF 60% ... means what? Making that clear would still leave us every option of using it ina ny way we choose.

What you do may be rational, but it is also slightly irrelevant here.

Thank you for such a good laugh. You sound like most of the politicians sounded in their recent campaign ads. Rational thought is the ONLY relevant basis for a discussion. If this thread is irrational it is a complete waste of time.

Catching up on a few things, part two …
Training should also be rebalanced the same way: more people train one skill=slightly reduce the effectiveness. Fewer people train a skill=slightly increase the effectiveness.

Oops. That is a formula for turning the most screwed up things that managers do into a part of the game.

'Those who cannot be online at the end of an auction cannot have the last bid with or without autobid no matter what'
Don’t reshape someone else’s argument to try to make your point. Try this: ‘People who are not online at the end of an auction cannot be assured of having the last bid with or without autobid no matter what' That is FACT.
And by the way, autobid doesn’t cure stupidity. You will still have stupid bids, and they may even become more prevalent.
Do you understand anything at all in this planet?
People surely understand insufferable arrogance when they smell it.
Alas I have been deleted!!!
Surprise!!!

If they implemented autobid, they could do away with auction extention.
This would make it absolutely essential to be present at the end of an auction of any player you really cared about, and reintroduce every single problem that the extension cures. Great idea for anyone who hates BB and wants to see it destroyed.

Point im trying to make is that whilst I think it would be great if the optimum strength of all offences were roughly equal, (and in my opinion work done in this area is needed), we have to also be careful that we dont stifle the "creative" juices of the innovative Managers who might otherwise train up players with specific skills sets that could take the game to another level and beat the tactics or skills sets that are dominant for a period of time

Ding ding ding we have a winner!

Lots of things that need thinking over imo before we introduce an app.
... So imo just making an app and throwing it out there probably won't solve much right away. ...

Ding ding ding another winner!

The number one thing that needs to be improved, which was not covered in the poll, is time. It takes more than two full calendar years real life time to train a player up from age 18 into a fully developed talent. This is the most unattractive aspect of the game.

Only for the "I want what I want and I want it NOW" crowd. For others, the gradual, thoughtful development of a winning team is the paramount attraction to this game.

I really think training speed needs to be cut in half. ...
Cut training time directly in half and watch the interest in the game grow.

There is already an absurd discrepancy between the cost of a young untrained, unproductive player and a productive 25-35 year old player. Cut training time in half and probably increase the discrepancy exponentially. Clearly, in this light that would NOT be good for the game.

I dont think you get what I am saying here. I love training. I have two guards I have had for over 600 days each that are rounding into really nice high TSP guards. They will cap out next season or so. The problem is, they will be 25 or 26. As training is currently constructed, you can't develop your team in house AND compete at a high level. By the time I develop a few more players, these two guards will be starting decline. So you are forced to fill out your roster on the TL.

Um.....No its not. If I have 9billion dollars and nobody else in the game has 9 billion dollars, I could be assured to win without being online (with or without autobid).

OMG, Mr. 9 Billion Dollar Man, that has to be the world's record stupidest answer ever posted in any online site anywhere. Someone call Guinness Book of World Records NOW.

In your 9 billion dollar world, you can have autobid if you want it. It's your world, all yours, all alone. Congratulations!

You're the guy who said there are only 10 real users of BB in Japan, aren't you? And there are 16 teams in the top league in Japan, aren't there? And you're in Div. II, aren't you? Hmm, I think I'll limit my conversation with the real users in the future, not the mouth-foaming, arm-waving, wildly ranting wannabe's. TTFN.
