Also, this:
This applies only to the salary your players have when they are acquired -- if you train your players and their salaries increase as a result, you won’t be responsible for this increase. To make the implementation more gradual, all current teams will have an extra training exemption

so are you saying that ur exemption is MORE than the total of your trainee (or trained) salaries?

cause my training exemption is equal to my trained player salaries (or thereabouts, my rough math's equates it to within $10k of the exemption im entitled for.)

Soooooo - whats am I missing here?

Actually Slam is going to drop down to 2nd place the way things stand right now, as he still won't have a team to field when he plays me, hence finishing 18-4 and losing out to PWJAC on points difference.

I'm not sure Johnno even knows how to buy up a team, judging by the fact that two of his purchases came with injuries and he's re-selling one of those already...
