Well. good luck in D2
My team has been in D2 a few times and I learned that you have to be planning on going and be ready to be there, don't just show up and figure out things as you go.
The first time I landed there was with the same squad I won my first D4 title, it was such a good team we got into D2.
just imagine a small arena squad with the salaries of a D4 team, and not enough money to buy players with salaries of D2 level players, and grow my arena size at the same time.
I had to pick one of the others, and whatever upgrades I wanted to make to the arena would take too long to collect the profits.
The second time I was promoted as you did just now, but I didn't know I was to be promoted, I just knew my squad didn't match well against the other conf. top player, but the second squad in our conf did, so I let him win so he may have shot promoting.
The manager from the top team from the other conf. asked why I lost on purpose and I told him why, then he proceeded to say, well you are getting promoted too, and I was like what now?
Once again I was completely unprepared to be D2
This last time I had a plan, I had expanded my Arena size, and I had two players to build around them and I almost won the whole thing, if wasn't for one player a week in a half before the postseason started went and bought all these players with crazy stats and there was no way I was going to beat him and got sent home in the first round.
