Our team plays one more important game of the WC campaign today, this time against Canada. The good result in this match won't be decisive in any case, but it might show what is this team capable of. One more possible benefit of winning this game is possible 7th place at the end (a victory doesn't secure it).
I will sayl something about our rivals :

Canada is one of the strongest BB NTs in American confederation, which has two continental semifinalist titles. They were usually over performed by the USA, Brazil or Argentina...
The last two seasons, including this, are the best in Canadian history. Canada qualified to the WC through repechage in a solid group with Italy, Japan and Nigeria. They passed to this stage of the WC through the group A with Slovakia, Czech Republic, China, USA and Ghana in it. Their two victories were enough for them to achieve historical success.
They have very quality group of players, with lot of potential and chance to progress further in the future. They are one of the favorites to win some of the next continental championships.
Our scouts watched all of their games, scouted their players so we could say that we have analyzed them pretty much.
Our guys performed physio training yesterday morning and watched Canadian games today.
We met the team's captain, Jibril Abu-Mansour, in the hotel. He thinks that the team has enough potential to beat Canada:

"Canada is strong team, with good manager. They haven't come so far for no reason. Luckily for us, we did exactly the same as they did, so we have our hopes of winning the match. All of our players are fit, with excellent game shapes and we are dying to hear the names of guys who will play the game. Our manager showed us some hints, which might be useful during the game."

Jibril was pretty optimistic, but he pays respect to the opponents.
Victory may bring us some more happiness, but we don't lose anything by losing the game.
Join me on chat at 19.30, I assume that there will be some Canadians, too.

We are the best!

Wow, excellent victory for our team yesterday against Canada. This team is playing an incredible season and is really such an honor to be their manager. I thought we'd have some chances so I decided to play CT because our next matches are certain losses. Luckily for us, my predictions have shown as true. Our team played excellent game, along with Canada, and claimed well deserved victory because we were leading since the very beginning.
Our best player was Hana Habib Al-Rasheed who played extremely well offensively, especially inside.
This victory is significant for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, we might finish 7th at the WC at the end, which would be amazing success.
Secondly, but more important :

Misr is currently placed at the 9th position of the world rankings!
This is one more historical success for Misr and something I could never even imagine before.

I don't know what else to say, I am delighted.

We are the best!

Thank you Ahmed for these words, this is really a huge success for all of us.
The best thing is the fact that we have very perspective young players and this team might only grow stronger.

OK, today is our final game of the WC, where we play against Slovakia, one of the world's strongest team. They maybe don't have a plenty of trophies at their main page but they are always at the very top of the rankings.
I don''t think that I have a lot to write, the games against Czechs and Slovakians aren't our chances at all - especially with this low enthusiasm. We played against Slovakia before the WC and we lost by 15 points - not too much.

I will write something about our journey through the WC.

When I found out the names of our rivals, I thought that we could win one game and equalize our best result here. Our schedule was excellent and this is what I saw as our chance. Teams like Spain and Poland were impossible to beat but I had hope against Uruguay, Hong Kong and Iran.
The game against Uruguay is one of the most important victories as a manager of Misr. This is especially because I played TIE, hoping to win in the next two games. My colleague from Uruguay played Normal but failed to win in overtime. I was really amazed to see that lots of things can be achieved with good enthusiasm, excellent game shapes and fine distribution of skills. I started to think that we could achieve a phenomenal success and enter the 2nd round.
Our enthusiasm was huge before the game against Hong Kong, which was also very important to win. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck and lost by 6 points. It was very important to motivate the players to keep struggling and to beat Iran by more than 10 points. We played CT, won by 13 and achieved the highest success in Egyptian history. We passed to the second round leaving much stronger teams, Iran and Uruguay, behind.
Our next rival was China, an amazing team which is hoping to win the WC title, something which they never did before.
I tried to experiment a bit and we lost by 35 points. I realized that our next match could be very important.
Canada was the least strong team coming from the other group in this phase so I thought that we could win that game, too. I played CT, players played the best match of their careers and the victory was there! This team kept playing tremendously and Canadians were unable to handle that. This victory put as among the Top 10 teams in the world, which is something that has never happened before for this country.
The games against Slovakia and Czech aren't really that important. Our team is exhausted, has low enthusiasm and did better than anyone of us imagined before.

Now, some not really happy information.
Four players are retiring from the team and this is their last game. I am talking about Sulayman Yousef, Nasser Ismail, Abdullah Haj-Hamdan and Jibril Abu-Mansour. Nasser is injured and he played his last game against Czech Republic. Abdullah, Jibril and Sulayman will retire tonight and they will get the special award from Egyptian BB Federation before the game.
I'll start with scouting tonight and see who will be able to replace them. This team has excellent future and the replacements might even be better.
This is why I would like to continue managing this team in the next two seasons, too.
I hope that I have your support.

We are the best!

Hello guys, our team begins the preparation for the African Championship next year in Al Jazair.
This team has two more friendlies to play before the official start of the competition.
The first game will be against Austria, which is managed by a huge fan and friend of this NT and also the former manager, LA-Fairness!
After the end of his career as a manager of Misr, where he did an excellent job, he kept excellent relationships with his successors. This is how I got into contact with him and he is surely one of the most important people in achieving this success.
Today he leads Austria, which plays extremely smart basketball, mostly inspired by the defense.
Austrians have pretty strong squad and might be proclaimed as the favorites in this match, but our players won't surrender - I am definitely sure about it.
This team of Misr plays for the first time together in this roster and might show some signs of not being together. However, I am sure that this team will be lifting the trophy for the African champion next season. ;)

The game starts at 19.00 and takes place in Berlin.
As I said, this team will try to achieve victory.

We are the best!

Congratulations for the victory. It is not a shame to lose against a team with strong players and excellent tactician as a manager. Luckily for us, Misr currently has maybe even the youngest squad in the world. This team can only get better as the time passes by and Egyptian community will soon become aware of it.

Hello guys, I would like to say that our team plays one friendly game today. The rival is my homeland, BiH. This country was our partner just before the WC and we managed to win in a pretty tight game. Unluckily for us, BiH has much higher enthusiasm than our team and is clearly favorite in today's match. On the other hand, we have slightly better gameshapes.
However, I will use this match to see how strong is the team which is going to represent Misr at the following African Nations Cup.

We are the best!

I've entered the election for the Egyption national team. I just wanna say, that if elected i will do the best that i can to help lead this team to success. All i have to do is focus. I belive that i can do anything i put my mind to. I will need the help of the Misr community if elected. The people deserve to have a voice about how the team is being coached. I im willing to listen & i read/return all bb mail. I have coached a team to a champiopnship and ive never had a losing season. I plan to do way more if elected Coach of the Egyption National Team.
