Go the big 8. I guess that settles the stronger conference argument? ;)

And I'm annoyed that Wayne plays in the all star game, but is too injured to play for me X(

You guys found a new way to win.

Must have been someone from the Big 8 who selected the Great 8 team and included Banales & Quigmin.

And what was the good of playing OTT at SF in a Base Offense and also not switching his defensive role with a SF at Centre like what I normally play

Yeah, I agree. If you are injured you shouldn't play but still should be recognised of being selected.

I think you need to make a statement about this so that other players on your roster dont do the same in future seasons.

List him today for $1, and send a message that you wont tolerate such double standards

Lol +1

Pretty happy with that ASW, 3 point contest for JP and a double double, pretty good showing seeing he has spent half this season on the TL :P

Wow how good are the JW City Bulls?

Playing away from home and used less enthusiam against a quality opponent and he wins easy with some amazing rankings.

I dont think I have a chance against them next game especially with him having the HCA.

Id have to abandon my training plans for the week and bring in an import or 2, just to be competitive.

In other news it was a better night for the Great 8 winning 6 out of the 8 games.

I used that game for gauging, as expected I am too far off the pace to get anywhere this season, I have done enough to retain my place in this div I would think, time to make some mulla!

Seems a fair plan.

At same stage I will have to make an acquisition to be able to compete with the big dollar roster of JW City Bulls and I am hopeful that I will be a good chance to promote.

From my memory JW always seems to be a contender, which is a great effort but surely it must impact on the depth of his pockets (financial capacity)

JW had only missed out on playoffs once since when I was there and 1 more time after that if I'm not wrong.

GC was never going to contend against them with their cureent roster, and now that JW is out of the cup, they will just get better.

What J-dub needs to promote IMO is depth in case of any injuries. Will be though to do so finacially but worth it if they promote. Personally, either way, I do worry about their aging roster.

No doubt that part of the motivation for his team to promote is that McArthur his key player, is 33 years old and his skills will drop off a bit quicker next season.

Likewise for me my key player is Riviera who will turn 33 next season.

At the moment I do have better depth than JW, especially if I was to start playing my trainees at SF or PF.

Whilst I dont want to erode my "bank vault" as I want to use it in the next couple of seasons to hopefully build towards winning some serious silverware in the ABBL, I do have the option of being able to bring in players if I decide that I need to
